This thing is sweet, been wanting to get one for a while, the capabilities it offers at the price it’s sold for it amazing in comparison to other cameras out there!
If you dont like to color grade you can convert rec 709 to cineon log in davinci resolve and use the kodak 2383 d60,55,65 lut for the footage. Just take into account that each of those numbers are for specific white balances. You probably arent setting white balance but can just throw the lut on based on time of day to match. Im colorblind so i dont really color grade and im going to play around with this. Also have an obsession currently with 2383 😂
Thats just a tripod plate on the bottom of it haha. But I find it helps it stay standing on its own! To shoot vertical, just rotate the screen vertically and hit continue so it doesn't go to sleep, then you can choose 1:1 mode or 9:16 3K mode from there!
@dunnadidit wow that's great I play basketball I also want to shoot footage in London when I move there. I am trying to buy this or something more affordable. Thanks
I never did mount it like that but I definitely wished I had something to do so. The handle extender has a quarter inch thread on it so you can pretty much use anything you'd like.
Is the footage good. There's times it looks good and times it looks blurry a touch. I love my Samsung ultra but I would like a device that has the video quality and flexibility that this provides
Excited to use ours more! It our preferred camera to use on a recent vlog. I haven’t tested out a full day shoot yet, does anyone have any experience on battery life? I assume it’s best to use the battery pack only when you get low on power?
@@dunnadidit thanks. That is my only concern in buying the osmo. I wont have to deal with that if im using a camera with 6.2k open gate capabilities saving me time in creating another videos for youtube shorts and tiktok.
Great video. I'm so excited. Dji is sending me the pocket 3 to look at. I can't wait to NOT use my phone for everything. I dropped a sub, and a 👍 thanks for the tips also. Now off to go watch some more of your videos. Very cool including dad. Have a great day, brother.
I don't know about the camera. But the thing I like is the love of you for your father. Stay blessed... We need to learn from this to give and spend time with our parents 💞
I mean, it's a one inch sensor. With a 3 Axis gamble. Advanced track 6. Basically It will track you and keep you in frame no matter where you move. And you can get it all for the low price of $512 which is ridiculous for a camera of its quality. Because love of her hate it. It is better than your phone's camera. That's just guaranteed. How much better is really up to you? But it can shoot 4K 60. Most phones can only shoot 4K 30. If that and on top of that, most phones can't do ten bit, dlog-m But of course, this can.
This camera doesnt do full resolution vertical video, it crops in so no point in taking video both ways. The camera doesnt rotate like the DJI minis do for full resolution vertical video.
That’s true, but it actually crops in from a taller resolution than you get with the horizontal frame so you can get a wider FOV and higher resolution if you shoot it vertical.
Question: would you recommend using this for Instagram? I do cooking, decorating, table scapes, and I'm totally into flowers & gardens. But I'm wondering if the iPhone would not be better. Please help.
when you say we should film on vertical and horizontal should we crop on post prod a horizontal video to vertical or shoot before and the two ways ? (sorry for my english :) )
Is this worth buying as a point and shoot that anyone can use? I would mainly be recording home videos, birthdays and occasional holidays. Or would I be better off with a camcorder such as the Sony Ax 53?
@@Livingslow4life I believe mine comes with the microphone, the case, one lens and the extra battery and and the case I believe which I’ll probably be transferring into something else so I can walk around with it more portable. I know people are using oval eyeglass cases because of the size of it that might be more suitable to put in my pocket when I go to events, so I’m excited to see what happens
