Eleven & Clara's chemistry was pretty magnetic, but I think Capaldi & Coleman brought such a unique dynamic that was mutlptipled by their chemistry that it can seem like Eleven x Clara is off compared to Twelve x Clara. I loved Matt Smith and Jenna together, but at the same time I wholly adored the special, unique and deep chemistry between Capaldi and Jenna's characters.

Noice Toits so do iiiiii matt.and jenna had such incredible chemistry, and although she did with capaldi as well it would have been interesting to see how her relationship with matt’s doctor would have developed

@RuralGayBoy That's exactly it, I just always always wondered what it would be like if they further explored Clara's new computer skills and put them to use more, that's all. it would've been a fantastic nod to their adventures. but I love them either way, because you can literally taste the chaotic energy they radiate, so an extra nod wouldn't alter that, it merely would've been fun... sooo funnn

People resented Clara for overshadowing Capaldi. Season 8 Capaldi wasn't worthy of being called the Doctor. Season 9 Capaldi was and he cemented his Doctor with the anti-war speech in The Zygon Inversion but Clara had to carry his entire first season for him. People blame the writing but frankly, I think Capaldi was simply a supporting actor who was put into a leading role before he was ready. He couldn't even fall back on his gimmick of swearing up a storm like he did as Malcolm Tucker. People don't want to acknowledge than an actress 28 years his junior was acting circles around him in his own debut season, so they blame the writing instead.

@@CantStayAway Nah, Danny was less of a pushover than Rory. Rory let Amy and sometimes even the Doctor walk all over him but Danny made it clear that he wasn't going to let Clara push him around and he certainly wasn't going to put up with the Doctor's shit.
