Fascinating that the lives of Jesus and the teachings of the Essenes as laid out through the readings of Edgar Cayce parallel so much of this. Most people hear psychic and immediately dismiss like how many did in Jesus’ day, but the broader picture of the community is fascinating. I’d highly recommend anyone with an open mind and heart or hears their own still small voice to look into the Cayce readings on the past lives of Jesus and the Essene community. Hebrew roots believers don’t follow the teachings of the Pharisees. They only follow the Torah. The religion of the Pharisees encompasses the written Torah and what was at the time of Yahshua referred to as the oral Torah. These were extra biblical commandments that the Pharisees taught and even promoted above the written Torah. Those were the “laws” Yahshua taught against. Example- the Pharisees asked Yahshua why they don’t wash their hands according to the law. That was an oral law. No where in the Torah does it tell you when and how to wash your hands. Yahshua never did away with the written commandments of God. They are forever. He was teaching that laws made up by men were burdens the Pharisees extra laws not commanded by God but by them. You cannot understand the New Testament if you do not understand this very important concept.

This guy's understanding of basic religion is flawed. He says Nazarene belief subscribes to rabbinical teachings meaning old testament which is wrong. Rabbinical teachings do include that of Torah teachings but they also include talmudic doctrine. Nazarenes' belief was the Messiah was divine. Ebonites saw Him as mortal, just a prophet. As mentioned by others, Paul identified himself as Nazarene and hung out with others who also took Nazarene vows. A Nazarene is a more dedicated walker of Torah. They don't cloud their minds with the ways of this world. Mr David needs to study his bible better. You didn't call anyone out, jack. What I said was that there are people in the Hebraic Roots Movement claiming to be Nazarenes, but they don't know what the Nazarenes actually believed. Then I presented some historical sources to support my claims about the beliefs of the Nazarenes, you cited zero sources for the claims you're making above, and apparently you didn't listen to the information I presented because you only listed to the first 4 minutes, which means you didn't even make it past the introduction. Also, a Nazarite vow is not the same as being a member of the sect of the Nazarenes. Paul did not "hang out" with people who took Nazarite vows, James and the Jerusalem assembly did, Paul was just told to pay their way. From Paul's writings in Galatians chapter 2 it sounds like Paul didn't get along too well with the people that James hung out with. Sounds like you need to study your Bible better, and while you're at it maybe work on your listening comprehension.
I'm so glad I don't have to concern myself with animal sacrifices. Since I came to the Bible in 2010 this is some of the best news. I have such a love for animals I was worrited about it. I love animals more than I love people, well I suppose it's different. I'm mostly vegetarian too and know it's the best but sometimes worry about it because of the influence of other church members' influence. I learned about the live food diet and know it's best for spiritual reasons and for worship on the Sabbath with the angels. The learning just gets better adn better.

Is it possible that Epiphanius realised a ‘false gospel’ was emerging with Paul the chief Apostate and wrote his Panarion to record events of these other groups for a future generation ? I think so Epiphanius also gave us his book Weights and Measures where the true translation of the Hebrew scriptures is recorded for posterity.
Carefull! The Apostles were Nazareans just like Paul. Paul was recognized as a leader of the Nazareans. Acts cleary states this. They beleived it was better not to impose the law on Gentiles while still following it. The ebionites are the off shot of those in Acts 15 who wanted all new gentile beleivers to circumcise and follow the law.
Acts clearly states that the jews believed him to be a leader of the Nazarenes. There is no evidence that the Nazarenes themselves believed him to be their leader. James the brother of Yeshua was their leader, along with Peter and John and the other chosen apostles.

Nazarenes were original the first Jewish Church in Jerusalem which James and Peter were over. This video mixes much truth with lies and fiction. It causes you to reject the authentic Nazarenes because of the false things this video adds to them. I am shocked to see the mention the Prophet Mohammed/Ahmed ﷺ mentioned in 19:52mn in the Recognitions 5,10. I confess Jesus Christ is God. I call on The Father The Son and The Holy Spirit when I pray. I'm a Christian Nazarene. I know in the video you state a guy that's a bishop in the Catholic church. Sadly they do alot that is opposite of scripture. Scripture tells us to call no one father but our Heavenly Father. Look at what they call their priests. Also that scarf the Pope wears that has a symbol on it that means man boy love makes me think that's the church of Satan. So I don't think I'd take to much info from any catholic source. God bless.

This seems to demonstrate that Yeshua was not the Messiah as well as the false leaders mentioned in that passage of Acts chapter 5.
