Freddie Freeman with a record five straight games with a homerun and also tied for most RBIs in a a single World Series. Ohtani got the Dodgers to the World Series along the way broke dozens of records himself, and Freddie Freeman got the Championship for the team.
My 1st year of watching baseball all thanks to Shohei, in my first year I already witnes : -Japan vs USA in WBC - Trout vs Shohei at 9th innings with 2 out. - First ever 50/50 - Yamamoto vs Darvis, Ohtani vs Judge - Yankees vs Dodgers in World Series - Shohei first ring What a great year, thank you baseball.
Gotta admit the Dodgers felt like the better team. Gritty and never gave up and took advantage of every mistake the Yankees made. Congrats Los Angeles.
I agree, and the fraud Stankees beat two mediocre varsity teams KC and Cleveland and won a bullpen throw away game, basically the Yankees beat nobody and in the end beat themselves.
It wasn’t pretty but nothing has been pretty about the Dodgers season it’s been about different players at different times stepping up. At times it was the MVPS and other times the role players. This was a team performance through and through. This was truly a special run.
I love Treinen. He battled through his recovery from injury and I’m glad the Dodger organization held on to him. He ended up helping us win another one 4 years after our 2020 chip.
@@sigerlion8608 Honestly shows the team effort, Ohtani didn't do so hot in the world series but was no doubt a reason why they got here in the first place. Honestly glad the rest of the team gets the recognition they deserve.
💙Ohtani carried the Dodgers all season and to the NLCS he hit .365, and in game 1 the World Series he got a key triple and tied the game that led to Freemans homerun, but after game 2 when he dislocated his shoulder he was'nt the same but he was still willing to play injured, a heart of a Champion 💙
I knew Shohei had the heart of a Lion, he played the entire season with a torn UCL and led the NL in almost every offensive statistics and went 50-50, so happy he won the World Series, well deserved.
Ohtani Freddy Both carried this Dodgers team on championship games. Both are Champions now. This is best Squad Assemble in years. Congratulations Dodgers, you guys deserving champions.
Ohtani carried the team all season and through NLCS, esp with Freddie’s hurt ankle. Then his ankle healed and Ohtani got hurt, so it was Freddie’s turn to carry the team home. CHAMPIONS
On behalf of Japanese people, I'd like to thank Dodgers for giving Shohei Ohtani the chance to win the World Series! Now he won the World Series! I'm so happy Shohei Ohtani's dream came true and he is successful in MLB!!! Whole country will celebrate tonight for Shohei Ohtani and the Dodgers! Love from Japan
Shohei Ohtani said that his injury was not a big deal because it would affect the team's morale, but his shoulder subluxation did affect him. That's what I felt when I watched him batting. The Dodgers' depth of players was superior to that of the Yankees in winning the World Series. The Yankees' World Series ended before Judge even started batting.
Dave Roberts managed the pitching staff masterfully this series. The labels of starter, or reliever had no place in this series. It was all about who was best for the situation, and he chose almost perfectly.
I'm Most Definitely A Born n Raised Los Angeles Native. What A Great Season and A Great World Series. Congratulations 2 da Dodgers for Getting the Job Done In New York City.
Congratulations from a padres fan, i know i dont belong here. But you guys were the better team, played better baseball, had more heart. Thanks for a good 2024 Season!
Doesn't matter what team you go for anyone is welcomed. Especially padre fans. We wouldn't have won this season if it wasn't for the padres being so tough on us.
If you know MLB history, you will know how valuable this championship was for the Dodgers, who beat the Yankees. Damn Yankees jinx. Even though the series score was ahead 3-0, the opponent was the Yankees, so it was a situation where one could not be at ease. Congratulations to the Dodgers for breaking this jinx and winning the championship.from seoul korea😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
The Dodgers would not give up. What an incredible series. We are making noise in the South end of the San Joaquin Valley in California. The cherry bombs are going off like its a war zone. Time and again it was the hustle of the Dodger players that won this championship.
Lost their ace (Glasnow), lost their legend (Kershaw) due to injury, Freeman got injured, Rojas got injured, almost go home against Padres, Shohei got injured, and still can win from 5-0 deficits..what a mentality this team have..Bravo Dodgers
Congrats to the Dodgers - and to Dave. This year he did not even play Kershaw - excellent one time in a row. Real timework - great team - great front office.
Stayed up to 5am watching this from Reykjavik, Iceland. Have my Ohtani shirt on. Was biting nails thinking NY might take this one, but Dodgers showed they are a team that doesnt give a F... !!!😍😇
That should do it for the memes about the Dodgers choking all the time. At least for one year. It's very hard to win a World Series. Congrats to the Dodgers!
I remember that despite of the start of the pandemic in 2020, it was a beautiful year in sports for my hometown of Los Angeles, California. Not only did The Dodgers win the World Series, but also The Lakers won The World Championship. The last time that double win for Los Angeles since 1988. Both Lakers & Dodgers couldn’t have the parade & proper celebration that both teams worked so hard to win for L.A. back in 2020. I can’t wait for the Boys In Blue to come back here in L.A. to have the celebration that they deserve to have. Thank you my Los Angeles brothers, The Dodgers for bringing back the World Series trophy back to Los Angeles. 😘😍💙🩶🧢⚾️🏟️🏆🥇
As a life long Braves fan, it just doesn’t seem right seeing Freddie in that Dodger uniform. But he brings so much to any team. Dude is full of love, along with all that skill.
I'm so happy for Ohtani that he finally won a World Series, and he did it in just ONE SEASON after switching teams! 👏👏👏👏 Also, congratulations to Yamamoto for winning his 1st World Series in just ONE SEASON, all while making his 1ST DEBUT DRAFT PICK TO PRO AND WINNING IT ALL! That's amazing! 👏👏👏👏
I remember watching the LIVE chats when Dodgers made it to the World Series, and Yankee fans on there were already saying "Yankees 4-0". Looks like that FAILED! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
💙L. A. Dodgers💙 LET’S GO! Beating the best teams + back to back New York teams down 5 runs then scoring 5 runs in an inning coming back to win the World Series is “UNFORGETTABLE AMAZING” THANKS TO GOD & GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!🎉💙☝🏻
