Such an interesting way to make the head. No pattern needed, you just sew and create the shape along the way. And I can't believe you literally took the kapok from its source 😂 That reminds me somebody in my block owns a kapok tree and they don't seem to use them. I think I will ask some from them.
Kapok! As recently as the 1940s and 50s kapok was a regularly used filler in America but is now mostly replaced by synthetic materials. It is expensive to buy here now. I wish I had a kapok tree. The doll is beautiful, thank you, as always, for your peaceful, instructive videos.
