Japan is a country where society is aging at a faster rate than in many other nations, due in large part to the remarkable longevity of its citizens coupled with a steadily declining birth rate. This demographic trend has become a pressing concern that looms like a ticking time bomb, with serious implications for the nation's future.
One poignant example of this challenge is found in Nagoro Doll village, where fewer than 30 inhabitants remain, the majority of whom are over the age of 65.
In an effort to revive the village and pay tribute to its departed residents, the community has created a collection of dolls representing the dwindling population.
This episode has been filmed in 2019.

The Japanese Government should do more for that town and bring life to it’s community again, like tourist or young people. Not dolls, it’s very eery! The town reminds me of towns in Italy that are left old and abandoned! Such Beautiful towns, but no one lives there! They are selling it for one euro. The Japanese have huge pride. It’s probably really hard to work and fit into their culture as they work really hard and it’s all about respect! I mean, I think you have to bow to your boss and you never leave work before they do. No wonder why it’s hard for them to find foreign workers who will adhere to those strict working rules.

At least, Japanesse children most likely have proper home, proper food, proper clothes and proper education and their adults don't have to compete so hard to get a job - unlike many other Countries which have so many jobless adults and many children begging for money or food on the street.
