I’m not a nail tech by any means, but it looks to me like there’s a bit too much bulk on the ends and not really an apex. It seems like that could be putting a lot of pressure on the sides where the cracks are happening
I’ve been doing my nails for a while and they’re a little shorter than hers and I was also thinking this. If I had that little product on my apex they would snap clean in half!
@@sarahmccoy4792 I’ve been doing mine for a few years too (probably should’ve mentioned that) and I’m glad someone agrees with me! She knows soo much I’m hesitant to give advice with my level of experience
Yes, that's correct. From the cuticle, they are rising incorrectly. The apex should sit in the back ⅓ of the nail. The longer the nail, the further back to the cuticle the apex is. If it's too far forward and/or the arch line is not straight/it's bulky, it will put the free edge downward over the fingertip, and it will create weakness and is causing cracks Sorry for the bad English
OMGGGG DUDE GETTING DISTRACTED FOR JAMES BEAUFORT IS SO REALLLLL. Maxton Hall is literally AMAZINGGGGG honestly it’s worth the nails 😂😂♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ I love your work and content absolutely stunning 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼🤩🤩🤩
Same I wish I had just a smidge of artistic talent as a lot of these nail techs it takes me forever to design but I'm trying to take myself out my comfort zone and start practicing some of these hand designs
I have been doing nail art for like 3 years and it still lakes me literal hours🥵 for some nails it’s an all day affair. Idk how people get so good at doing them fast on themselves. Im quite a bit faster on other people, but i don’t have a lot of practice doing that either.
You're always so calm in your voice overs so hearing you being so sassy surprised me, in a good way of course. 😂 I always try to use your techniques but I am definitely still a beginner and they look a bit messed up 😂. Your nails look gorgeous by the way!
Love how honest you are about the process and things you go through, also hats off to you cause u always make it happen no matter how long it takes you 😊
You should try recommending a topical nail strengthener like rocket nail fuel for them. I would also recommend them talking with their doctors about it too. That stuff can be indicative of medical conditions and nutritional problems.
my mom has a nail artist and she doesn’t do her dominant hand. she only does one hand and that’s her ‘show hand’ and the other is her ‘work hand’. i’m not saying that’s what u have to do but it’s a suggestion that ik is def not for everyone since it takes a lot of confidence. i’m honestly impressed since u did both and they both looked incredible!
Happy to learn I'm not the only one who's super hype to do other people's nails but actually clipped my nails short to get myself extensions and just gave up and now they're almost done growing 1.5cm 😅 almost the size I wanted to add but my natural nails do shitty things sometimes 😢
I absolutely love doing 3D nail art and that’s how I can handle it. I know some nail artists will just outright refuse to do it because it just takes way too much time. Maybe 1hr 30min/hand
My nails do that and it's because my side walls are over filed when doing cuticle care with the little bits. When the nail grows out, it cracks on the side.
