Donøt need audience. Things can be funny, without you having to laugh with others. It's called being an independent human being, and not one, who is just following the herd.
That and they must have the mikes low or hiding in the corners or something cause it sounds pretty dark in sound compared to what we normally hear from most late-night shows (In the US I mean). Didn't sound like it had much processing on it and it was a pretty dull sounding room imo.
I don't know, at this point I feel somewhat obliged to point out the loud tacky laugh track. Its annoying! But maybe you have a point, so I'll hold off for now.
They record the laughter from the live audience, then they cut it, edit the mix, copy and paste it wherever they see fit. It's canned laughter like any other, just that they recorded the samples themselves, so they can use the excuse "recorded with a live audience" and imply that it's not edited. No real audience laughs like this. Compare the reactions to SNL or late night shows, and the difference is obvious.
Filmed in front of an audience that uses a laugh track to remind them it's funny and when to laugh..what pathetic garbage !!! I remember second City and Kids in the Hall, back when Canada had something to be proud of , now we get snowflake 'humor'..ugh..
Crazy Zaul I live in a town called Beaverton so it sounds very weird to me, it being called THE Beaverton. But yes I agree. perfect name for a Canadian show.
Love the show. I don't think I've ever subscribe to a channel so fast. My one suggestion - to please more and get more viewers- you should upload the entire show and make it at least 30 mins long. It has worked well for "Last Week Tonight". #safetylatchesonfemalepussies
There's enough interest. The #1 rule in getting out there is giving 'out there'. Provide any value or content you can for free, because "you guys are awesome" and then make requests as needed once you build an army, e.g. "join our mailing list" and "we're struggling right now, if you can, please support us on patreon".

Why does Canada care so much about the US? Like we couldn't careless about Canada or the people of Canada. They're never mentioned or of concern to US citizens, yet, Canadians always have a "Look at me US, Please notice me" behavior towards the US.
Ron Williams Because America is one of the most powerful countries in the world. Anything America does has a large impact on the rest of the world. For example the economy, or immigration control, or nuclear war. If America if going down taking the rest of us with it.
Well, their countries aren't as divided when it comes to politics, and they don't have a Reality TV Star and a decades old politician with a shady history running for president. Plus, if you don't believe immigration/socialist ideals are a problem, most other European countries (and Canada) are better off than America.
This propaganda under Trudeau is gold. People don't actually take this regressive activism covered up as "comedy" serious, do they? Oh wait, they take John Oliver serious too. Not for long though. More and more people are getting redpilled.

Finally something different! I was getting tired of Satirical Comedians like Colbert and Trevor Noah. The last couple of months they made me cringe from how unfunny they have become.
Oh THANK GOD. A comedy show that actually makes funny jokes about Trump winning the presidency, instead of just insulting the man, and anyone that supports him. Thank you. Also, kill the laugh track.
As a Canadian I thought we would never have funny original programming like this, but this seems very promising! I laughed more watching this segment than an entire John Oliver episode. Just take out the distracting laugh track and you guys are golden!
This is like a weekend update with Seth Meyers on SNL, except the jokes are really clever, funny and making fun of liberals. LOVE IT. No laugh track please, unless you're using it as a prop for a joke, for example, when straight up repeating a ridiculous anti-Trump statement like "is this America's 9/11", which deserved the laugh track.
You people saying it's a laugh track; Canadians, or others there, just know when to let the person CLEARLY THERE TO MAKE THEM LAUGH, speak. We SHOULD have respect for the entertainer and let them continue the bit they practiced to make their audience, us, laugh. It isn't a hard concept to figure out on your own.
