Some of these villains backstories really tug at your heartstrings, quite a string of sad tales, too bad that their leader is just stringing them along. Good thing Luffy unraveled Dolflamingos plans. Hopefully more of the family can be like Baby 5 and adopt a more straight-laced attitude. Sorry for the thread of string jokes.

Sugars ability is one of the scariest and broken ones in the series. I mean to turn anyone into a helpless toy and force them to obey you and be forgotten by anyone is crazy and pretty torturous. Koros was the only lucky one cause she didnt get to give him the contract in time. Honestly if they didnt give her the little girl look, i would have wanted someone to kill her. I think her ability is too dangerous to leave roaming around. Hopefully after it takes a long time to find her fruit again.

What about the true Donquixote family? The Celestrial Dragon one?

It's weird to see all of the information about this depraved, yet surprisingly close, pirate syndicate in one place. Part of what makes them so scary and mysterious in the story is that we are only given a few choice bits of information on them at a time. And even more intriguing, Oda was able to keep all of this under wraps pre-time skip, especially the biggest secrets of Doffy being a fallen Celestial Dragon and that Law could have turned out just like him if not for the influence of Rocinante. P.S. Doffy's eyes don't look like that under the iconic sunglasses. No. They are Rocinante's eyes, a constant reminder of what DoFlamingo sacrificed for ultimate power. Not his father, not the Riku family, not the hundreds upon thousands of civilians he has terrorized or killed cause him to lose sleep at night. Having to kill the one person he ever loved with his three "messed up fairy godfathers" watching? That's the death that inspired my head canon of "DoFlamingo never sleeps."

I love the image of tiny Baby 5 carrying the snail over her head while Doflamingo talks to it.

Crocodile should have followed Doflamingo more closely treating his subordinates as a family and not like subordinates only.

Donquixote Pirates are my favourite group of villains, because they are basically the only enemy pirate crew who were shown to be more than just subordinates and upper-standings, but an actual family.

I was always confused about Law and Don Quixote Family. Law said that he used to work for the family but he said it as if he worked for them recently, but he hasn’t been in contact with them since he was a kid. Moreover, why didn’t Doflamingo go after Law when he discovered that Law was a pirate with a bounty over 100 million berries? If his DF was truly that essential to his plans, him waiting just doesn’t make any sense.

Donquixote is a popular store in japan so his name could be a reference to how like the store donquixote sells items, specifically weapons, to customers. Basically the Donquixote family is a giant underworld walmart more or less

Doffy and his family is my favourite villian group of One Piece, hands down. Their background revealed so much depth in the One Piece world, both emotionally and logistically. Luffy and Law taking him down certainly unleased a flood of events that would be interesting to see.
