Noooooooooo Rooobbbbb😱😱😱😱 you must immediately cease all activities and watch Justice League Unlimited, it is w/o a doubt the best superheroe animation to ever be created by both Marvel & DC...Its actually what spurred my DC fandom, that and DCUO made me forget Marvel ever existed😂 it also holds a special place in my heart bc when my son was a newborn i would rock him to sleep watching that show every night on CN😂😂😂

Darkseid was never.... a super big character, he was a big character for sure, but he always scraped with Superman, and Superman beats him up and gets the upper hand on him at times, and he said that he was scared of Batman, and Batman has outsmarted Darkseid on several occasions and killed him one time I believe, but Darkseid was not all that compared to the heroes. The only time that I felt that Darkseid was too much for the heroes was when he fought the Anti-Monitor, because it said that they were evenly matched and all of the heroes and even villain had to come together to stop the Anti-Monitor, so Darkseid being on that level was when I saw him as a credible threat. Now, building him up to not just be a big villain, but a God whose very presence can kill you, it is really working out for him where he doesn't feel like a character to just be pushed around and beat up by Superman or Batman or Wonder Woman or Aquaman or others. He is now that big dog.

YES You need to see unlimited. It has great story lines while showcasing the B-C and D level characters. I own entire series on dvd and have watched it at least annually for the last 20 years

In answer to your question, Rob? Yes. Absolutely yes. It has some of the best Lex Luther storytelling (helps that Clancy Brown owns the screen every time he’s talking) and some of the best character development and character moments of that time. Plus, you get to see Darkseid again, and who doesn’t love some Darkseid Shenanigans? Even now, I can go back and watch clips or episodes,and it ages wonderfully

Brother, it is a mortal sin you have not seen JLU. Arguably one of the best animated series of all time next to the original. It give so much shine to the other heroes of DC. Its where i fell in love with the Question and Hawk and Dove. Its SICK.

JLU isn't just good because of nostalgia or good for a kids show, it's just straight up good. I've rewatched it older in life and it absolutely holds up and sets standards that I still measure the DC against today. Superman's "Cardboard box" speech is such a crazy good way to end the show too.

For the Alpha part, I like that all of the heroes were invited into the new Watchtower so that they can be part of the Justice League Unlimited. It’s nice that Clark invited Booster Gold to join the JLU because he knows that he sees the potential in him and that he did his best at becoming a hero for the past 39 years. I also like that all of the heroes all worked together to defeat Darkseid before they learned that the Elseworld (which hasn’t been used since the end of Death Metal) became the Absolute Universe and that Booster Gold learned what’s happened in that universe. Overall, this is a great backup and a great start to the DC All In initiative. For the Omega part, I like that we get to see what happened to Darkseid since Dark Crisis. This includes him obtaining power by traveling through realms to get it (including dealing with Zaurel, Blaze, Eclipso, the Spectre, and the Quintessence), fighting the heroes at the new Watchtower, and using the Elseworld to create an Absolute Universe. Also, referencing Darkseid’s entire history, including stuff from Final Crisis and the Great Darkness Saga. Overall, this is a great backup and a great start to DC’s Absolute Universe.

Weak to magic is how people often say it. But, superman is not weak to magic, superman is susceptible to magic, while he is virtually indestructible when facing anything else. So, it has never been a true weakness, it is just a thing in which superman is not super, which is like a weakness when compared to how impervious he is to other stuff.
