@@joshwaterman5526 no, they should be because they share a common interest🤦🏽♂️ kinda a big part of making friends world wide. worked for centuries. Try it bud maybe it'll work out for you?
@@settratheimperishable4093 haha yeah you're right about that. But what I was thinking when I wrote that was not only his guitar capabilities, but his musicianship as well! That part he said "relative pitch and theory": tells me his ears are sharp and he's got the musical knowledge. Can't help but admire him in the same I admire Herman Li.
After COVID I would pay to see that, and in response to the peraon above me, then half way through the set he just goes; "Oh now I remember how it goes" 😂
@@sarahdavis5864 guess I meant this figuratively speaking haha Wow I cannot believe he's around my age makes me feel like shit as a fellow guitar player 😅😭
@@DeadmanRides No. I'm explaining why people on Omegle react to the Dooo the way they do, and why the audience on the talent shows starts crying once someone really good starts their thing, and such reactions are absent on a classical concert where, realistically speaking, the musicians are probably better. When they expect everyone in the environment to be average, and they find themselves in the presence of a true master, they react emotionally. That's why they don't react that way to Herman in the concert - they expect him to be great, and he is. There's no "the Light descended into darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it" moment.
@@gj4312 hi George if you notice buckethead has a really big kfc bucket but where i live kfc has only small buckets therefore he may be really small with 1/2 or 3/4 guitars and accept only midgets at his concerts
Hey Doo, it's been a while I am following you, and as a metal lover I was so freaking happy for you that you played and met Herman, my life would be complete if I could just listen to your music for hours, I wish your road will be full of those kind of great moment, it gives me motivation in my life to hear how perfectly you play guitare due to training and passion, it inspires me af to not giving up, your the best take care (sry not native speaker)
This celebrity herman li..... Is so much more human than those unhuman. youtubers.... Herman li hearting most people..and replying.... Wow such a down to earth person..please cover through the fire and the flames
I'm a woman and I for my part admire your solos,Herman. And they DO make me smile. Big! 😊🤘 Please keep going; you got a fantastic band that radiates so much sparkling energy! 👍 Electricity for the soul! 🙃
Is pretty cool that even those musicians that are already on the tops because of their acts look to improve out of boredom or just for fun even use the skills they have learned on their free time is all about making the show more badass
herman and dooo have such good chemistry, herman should definitely be on an episode or two of the podcast the dooo co hosts. i really enjoyed just listening to them talk.
Hey Herman Li, It's great to see your videos, I saw you live in Mexico with Trivium back in 2012, when all the stupid people in the crowd turned around and I was one of the few who kept rocking with your amazing performance, as I was doing the \m/ you smiled at me and made the sign back, I will never forget that day, keep on uploading videos because this has been a very tough year and your videos help me get through depression, thank you for the great music and keep on rocking!
The secret to why the girls like his playing is that he hides his face. Because it is hidden, they can put their idea of what’s attractive to them in its place, regardless of the way he actually looks. If he showed his face, the mystery and possibility is gone. At that point you just have to hope they find your look appealing or simply have mass appeal.
Favorite Herman Li quote of all time and forgot where I heard it from, it’s well over 10 years old but “Tell all your friends Herman Li is cool or I’ll shit all over your head.” Just a classic.
It's cool knowing that the doo is able to talk to someone about how he got started with his career and instrumental skills with someone whos similar to him.
Dammit Man, y'all can tear it up and getting to just "hang and talk" with you guys through the streams and videos is awesome. And please don't stone me, but it sounds like the Dooo is trying to jam DF style and Herman is going for a more chill vibe. One thing we do is trade off mini solos until we get into groove and then go for the dueling or harmonic solos and it will just flow. I'm just a hack at guitar but have an ear for mixing and I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express.
Enhancing simplicity especially with something that most people know of and love is nice for a change. Just like when he playing hot cross buns, it was something that we know and can comprehend because we know how it goes and it doesnt sound like a string of cool sounding notes. Hope that made some kind of sense
Also music that we heard from our early life brings back such a sense of a simpler time especially with the year we just finished. We all remember when things were easy and I think playing music from back then is the closest way we will ever feel those feelings again
@@bigtex4890 as a drummer of 18 years now I can agree I grew up learning the entire album of siren songs of the counter culture by rise against and while not even considered a warm up any more I still love playing that album and hearing it
I literally just stumbled across this band 10 minutes ago only to find a video where the recording with TheDooo, a RU-vidr I've been watching for over a year
You two should deffinatelly write the hardest duo guitar solo for something, i dont know for next dragonforce song? or just as a solo project "This is the hardest guitar solo in the world, we took it and made it double"
