Pretty cool seeing a reaction to someone's first reaction to someone hearing it for the first time along with someone who luvs the tune. BTW this is one my top ten favorite songs of all time!
Yez' zzzer' bro'z intzto da' passszt' one color pill, upz' de' sky, down the road, the squekin" toad ' z into the Hawaii nitez' one color pill bringz' yuze down Cozic' ! Physchodelic Blue'z' man. Morrison, the door to the Doors.
Glad you liked it. FYI: Jim Morrison many times said he wished the Doors were purely a Blues band. And more than a few other Rock stars had a great love of and esteem for the Blues.
"Well, I'm an old blues man and I think that you'll understand, I've been singing the blues ever since the world began." I think your Uncle would really like "Maggie M'Gill " from Morrison Hotel.
Your dad and I are from the same generation no doubt lol and I agreed with everything he said about my favorite song/band of all time. Thank you for the reactions. 👍 Just subbed ❤️❤️
I can't begin to figure out how many times I've listened to The Soft Parade. I love the whole song, but the second half has one of the best blues grooves ever. Great video, thanks.
The Doors music is timeless. And Morrison? I made my dad, a Sinatra fan, listen to "I'm a spy". He thought his voice was meant to be a crooner, had he been around in the early 60s. That's a big compliment from my 75 yr old dad.
I love me some three kings(Freddie,Albert and BB) and John Lee Hooker. Get Uncle Ted to lead you down those rabbit holes. Then try Big Mama Thornton, Beverly Watson and then some early ZZ Top and Canned Heat. Or back way up and try Rev. Gary Davis, Bessie Smith and Robert Johnson. The list just keeps on growing!
Think this is my first time seeing you gentlemen. Great reaction! Felt your connection to the music! Try Tom Waits, anything from "Heart of a Saturday Night" great album bluesy as hell! Stay safe and well, keep the faith.
Every once in a while, a white guy can sing the blues. Check out Stevie Ray Vaughn's "Texas Flood" Live at El Mocambo. BTW, that's John Sebastian of the Lovin' Spoonful playing the harmonica on this track.
can you comment on the dorrs song under the name 'Woman is a Devil''and ''Maggie M'Gill''because Jim irresistibly love black blues singers.the blues was his true love. please if you can comment on his voice on those two songs, for croatian followers.........greetings from Croatia
Y’all get my man and old school to listen to the prison song Carlton Williams I’m sure old school has herd it before unbelievable song that I wish all young blacks could here and take in ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Although this is a good bluesy number . I think that we have to delve back into the roots of the blues...Leadbelly being my favourite , The Bourgeois Blues tells the the story of perpetual racism in the capital . Then theres Lucille Bogan , Shave Em Dry .and Charley Patton Spoonful Blues. Check them out , You wont be disappointed
Your uncle looks put-upon. Commission breath, I've heard of. You have it. - commission breath. You're simply using an elderly family member to fill in for your lack of personality.
