I think this is one of the best remixes I have ever heard!! take some x and listen to this and you almost have a orgasm. I like the originals also being a guitar player but there is nothing wrong with reinventing a song. So anyone who says this sucks ..I strongly disagree!
I realise this was two years ago... but hold the fuck up. This is exactly what Jim would have wanted. Go and read what Ray wrote about electronic music and skrillex and all that, they love it, they want all their songs mixed. There's no need to be a purist.
Bureaucratie ondermijnt talent, mijn eigen hart, zo zoet, donker en zwart als zwavel regen in de wreedheid van de nacht. Waar was jij? Op zoek naar duizend sterren. Verloren in een storm van woorden. Macht was nooit wat ik wou, de brutale breekbare woorden,
You think this is a great track, I think this is an insult to Jim Morrison and The Doors and the great song that are The End.... And Rock and DIsco are two type of music very different e with a different philosophy, disco music are only commercial music for dance and buy cd's, rock music is born for transmit emotions and feelings. You can listen disco music but you can't tell that this is a great combination of two type of music which are not compatible with each other.
The great track is the original and not this stupid remix... I'm sorry but i hate any type of commercial music... Maybe you listen Backstreet boys and High school musical and don't know the very great rock music...
But the fact that 80% of those who saw him visdeo appreciates, does not mean that the video is good music but only those people who listen to disco music. Anyone who loves rock and its history can not appreciate this version of one of the most beautiful songs of the Doors.
at 2.35 in the song, it's nice for a little while, but I didn't like rest, no offence dj. Less effects and more doors for my liking, keep up the good work
C'mon people. Have been a Doors fan for 25 years and if i was in my bedroom remixing, i dont think me or any of my mates, also Doors fans, would think this is an abomitation. GET REAL. Anyway, my two young children are dancing around the living room like nobody's business, while this is playing and they have NO musical prejudices. They are also ACDC fans so they must have goos taste
I like the original rendition, but why shouldn't we be able to enjoy this kind of music? It's just updated a bit, and to say that technology is a substitute for talent, is ridiculous. You try and make a song like this, you won't be able to, as you need talent to come up with this ;).
I bet it sounds much better on a big-ass sound system. And the experience gets much better when there`s alot of people around that`s dancing and partying. Not to mention the light-effects in a club. It just ain`t the same listening to it on youtube I suppose : )
Briiliant!! All these people complaining are talking shit, I bet they wouldnt complain if this was boomimg in a club, few drinks down there neck, women dancing everywhere you get my point :O) Oh and buy the way I love the Doors, seen the Doors live with Ian Astbury now three times, and Im from London
Yes, because every time a remix is made the original master recordings are actually taped over and the original albums are then permanently discontinued.
Im a DJ @ 3 of Holywoods most exclusive clubs, & when i played this, the club went bananas, so to all who are talking smack, it must be youre either too stoned, to know this is a remix meant to dance, or ur just akid who dont know crap about music. thanks for posting 1 love
