In June 1971 The Doors released their single "Riders on the Strom" from their album "L.A. Woman". The song reached number 14 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US. Number 22 in the UK Single Charts and number 7 in the Netherlands. Many people of my generation know this song because it's appearance in Need for Speed Underground 2. Ever since it became basically a classic even in my generation. It is an astonishing track and you truly need a minute to sattle down to truly be able to set you mind to it.
