The hypnotic beat is somehow earilie appropriate for Morrison and the Doors. The limo at 5:00 + looks like the band going into Toronto for the Varsity festival '69. Heard an interview with Robby one time, he was saying how freaked out he was getting an escort into Toronto by the Toronto cops and the Vagabond MC together, side by side.
Excellent Remix. Well Done, Jim Morrison would Approve . The song is talking about how he doesn't want to leave this state of mind he is in. He wants to stay where he feels good and doesnt want to return from the metaphysical world. "Learn to forget" is talking about how people need to forget everything they have been brainwashed by society so they can see the true world, not the agreed upon illusion we all live in. Thank You. 🙏
That was a pretty good interpretation however my interpretation with a clock when it says it's time to go now!.... I believe I always said just one more ...now!.... And I ask is this agreed upon time amongst all of us?..... I just need five more minutes
I was just sitting wondering what Jim would have made of this. I think he'd have loved the hypnotic, tribal beat with his vocals mixed in so expertly ❤❤ 🎶 🎵 ❤❤
Soul kitchen is reference to a woman's body don't ya get it . Morrison was always thinking about sex with women like Mr. Mojo risen , Mr mojo rising ,rising etc.
one of the most unbelievable remixes of soul kitchen by the doors ive ever heard if only jim and ray were still alive today the song totally mesmrised me from magic markie woodstock woodstock ny

It is a remix right? If so mixer did good. If it just so happens to be the way they played for that arena. I missed that version. It would be as if they were ahead of their time.
