Instead of the title "The Dos and Don'ts of afternoon tea etiquette" it should be called "Guy who used to work for the queen likes to gossip"

Replace the tea for coffee, and you have austrian, swedish, danish, etc. konditori tradition, basically.

What was the name of Princess Dinahs favorite tea? I love afternoon tea but I am doing it wrong by using tea bags out of a box.

Mr Charles ..... Rose Pouchong and then the Earl Grey was next to it.

Ok thanks I will have to check online for the rose one. My local stores wont have it. I drink the black tea or Earl Grey earlier because of the caffeine.

Mr Charles ...... Fortnum & Mason has it online. Look up their website. Saw it on Amazon but it was $40.00 for a tin.

Wait, how does he have all that experience but says Veuve Clicquot incorrectly? Veuve rhymes with love 💘😊

I'm not sure Veuve Cliquot was supplying Champagne to the british royal court ! Queen Victoria adored Champagne Salon which is much much higher in quality !

NO saucer was originated in china, to pour tea when its too hot and drink out of it

1) Re: saucer.... There is a lady on a different RU-vid channel who says you may use the saucer sitting down IF the table where you’re sitting is low. 2) Re: Scone pronunciation.... A gentleman on yet another channel says it is pronounced scone with the “O” sounding like how Americans would pronounce the O in John. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Is this man trying to relate to the wrong way that most North American's pronounce scone? It is pronounced like "scon". As well, you don't stir the tea in a circular fashion, you do so in a back and forth motion.

He's so savage n raw, not elegant at all to talk about afternoon tea etiquette. She is tacky too. N hey, you don't stir the tea in round n round n round but back forth back forth way. Also chef, you cant just lift your cup without saucer, it's not a mug for godsake. Also you sip the tea not slurp it. Wrong people totally.

OMG it's pronounced SKONS! Not scowns! Why must you change your pronounciation simply to coddle the Northern Americans? XD
