From Boston to UTMB, there's a lot of time to be gained on downhill sections of a course if you know how to run them properly.
Today, with the help a veteran trail runner we'd like to discuss some of the dos and don’ts of downhill running.
Knowing how to run downhill successfully will help you avoid potential injuries, cut time, and preserve your quads in the later miles of a race. Keep in mind, most of the form techniques we’ll cover can apply to both road and trail running.
