As a retired paramedic, I say this has all the earmarks of drug and alcohol abuse, possibly mixed with the onset (at least) of menopause. Judging from the reports, it looks like she's headed down a dangerous road. Hope she gets the help she obviously needs, to include psychotherapy, and REAL rehab, together with the acceptance of her status. Good luck, Heather.

I was thinking same but while the alcohol and drugs are just the symptom, it's really showing in her looks and health and that's sad bc she's still quite beautiful.

I've been a fan of Heather Locklear since Dynasty BUT I have to point out the HUGE double standards here. It seems she has a pattern of violence towards partners, family, even law enforcement, if this were a man the repercussions would be so much worse!

She's going through what allot of these good looking Hollywood female actors/singers end up going through. They often struggle to come to terms with age. When their looks start to fade and they begin to find it harder to get roles and realise that they've lost their value in the marketplace, it's tough. The average person understands that there's no shame in getting older and Locklear arguably had a good innings (she was still smoking even in her 40's) but the celebrity craves the attention. What Locklear needs to do is just accept that her time is over and look forward to enjoying later life with her family and wealth. She has a beautiful daughter she can live through.

Truth is she hit a rough patch after her divorce and her career fell off somewhat. And she was over prescribed anti-depressant. Don't be judgement of people who suffer from personal problems outside of their control. She obviously hasn't learned how to manage her issues/diseases in a constructive manner as of yet. Celeste Gaydos I don't see celebs doing that enough to be considered the "in" thing to do. I see celebs glorifying drug use and other mental health issues. From lyrics that discuss casual drug use and killing people to celebs bragging about how much coke they can do at once without dieing. Almost as if it was to challenge to others listening to top that! Then the few celebs who did eventually admit they have a problem are constantly attacked by the media and fans. And often find themselves to be the butt of many jokes that deters others to come out with their own issues. It would be great to see her acknowledge that she is going to get help and work on her recovery. Unfortunately she obviously isn't ready yet. I just hope she gets ready soon so we don't lose another one to this disease.
Celeste Gaydos No doubt. Depression and bipolar are mental illnesses that need to be treated. Unfortunately many people in general self diagnose and then self medicate. I have done this before because I wasn't comfortable with talking to others about it eventually became addicted to what I was medicating myself with. Yeah eventually did stupid shit got into trouble and in treatment. But I wish I could of been getting help sooner. This experience in recovery has had me dealing with a lot of death. More than average. So it's scary and unfortunate to see warning signs like hers because she's heading down that path 😔

I was best friends with her Brother, Tim, he was my weed man among other intimate things, she hated me, i also stood her up for lunch, in orlando back in the 90s. Her mom was a hypocrite, she tried to stop Tim and i from ......u know. She failed.

These guys were from rock bands who have a reputation along with most of their girlfriends and wives. So her (ex)husbands had to have rubbed off on her. Hence her mostly closeted addiction and behaviour that accompanies active addiction.
