What are your thoughts on Tori Spelling?

Dean McDermott was a nobody actor getting nowhere. He was married. But, when he did that movie with Tori Spelling, he saw dollar signs. They had an affair. Tori, being privileged all her life, had no shame or regrets about them having an affair, but she should have. If he was a good guy, he should have filed for divorce, then they could have hooked up... same goes for her. They hurt two other people doing what they did. Of course Dean McDermott left his not so rich wife for Tori Spelling. Then, of course again, he cheated on Tori, and apparently made her feel like she wasn't trying hard enough in their marriage. Truth be known, it wasn't the first time he had cheated bc I doubt he ever really loved her. I'm sure he loved her money. He thought she would inherit everything from Aaron Spelling, so he made sure there was enough kids between the two that he would get plenty of support if they split. He's always been cringy.

She seems to be well rounded considering her mother’s somewhat rejection. She’s a good mother and I hope her marriage survives. Wish she & her family the best.

I don't follow her or know a whole lot about her. But you have to give this woman a lot of credit. It seems no matter what gets thrown in her way she's always trying. She's putting herself out there to find some sort of work and to make things better for herself and her family. That says a lot about her character.

Not a fan of her husband, he is hanging around for the money...... Tori is a strong individual and does her best as a mom, wish her the best, always.

Tori was 17 when The Huge Spelling mansion had finally been finished . The house she grew up in was a modest mansion . She was a sweet unspoiled child with a big heart, and her brother Randy was well adjusted , outgoing and talented .

She’s about my age, we grew up together… loved watching her in 90210, and watched a few episodes of her reality show… she seems very down to earth despite being Hollywood royalty… great mom

WINNER She is is one tough cookie, having observed her for years, she is remarkably sound and authentic despite her unconventional upbringing and quixotic life. I'd bet money on her long term success in life and I never gamble.

I always liked Tori. Nowadays, children of celebrities often launch careers off of the back of their parents and no one says a word. It's become so normal. Back then, Tori was villainized even though she is a good actress and managed to hold her own. I followed her reality shows for a while before I realized she had a spending problem. She is one person who really had to evolve over time to survive. She seems to have nine lives and I'm glad that she is still managing to keep her head up, while raising a beautiful family.

Having come from having everything you want handed to you to being basically cut off would be so difficult. I imagine I'd be that girl who went on wild shopping sprees in the same situation. Fortunately, or not, I wasn't a privileged child, making me value every dollar I earn. Hopefully she and her Mom continue on a positive path. Both of my parents are gone so I encourage everyone lucky enough to still have them to cherish every moment.

No respect for her nor her husband. She cheated on her first husband to be with him and Dean cheated on his wife to be with her. Tori and Dean have had trust issues in their own marriage ever since.

No one mentions what Dean her husband does to contribute to the family---He do anything at all? He looks to be a man with no drive or accomplishment---Aaron Spelling's worth of 600 million when he passed seems huge to leave Tori and her brother each less than a million at the time---Even 5 or 10 million for each kid would have been meager---The old saying by Louis the 16th said---"Families? Who would be Without Them?" UGH !!!

15 yrs. later, it makes absolutely no sense that Aaron Spelling, whom Tori was super close with her entire life, would leave her only $1M. That’s less than .2% of his worth. He knew Tori couldn’t count in her mom. Even if she was a disaster with money,, he could have easily left her more…with conditions, and a third party to oversee it.

I am 60 and remember PEOPLE magazine articles on her father during his greatest days. Aaron and Candy just had that one girl and they had her dressed in Full Length FURS 🧥 👸🏻! It was nuts and no wonder why she thought she needed GUCCI. It was like Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang, toys were everywhere. That she didn’t end up like Big and Little Edie Beal is remarkable.

I have always liked Tori. People judge her so harshly, and I have never understood why. She wears her heart on her sleeve, and seems kind to everyone.

Dean and his first wife had just adopted their son. He came home from a movie shoot and told his wife he was in love with his co-star Tori Spelling and Tori was his soul mate. This was a woman he had known for two weeks.

Candy was a total narcissist

I also have always really liked Tori in her roles and as herself in reality shows. As a mom, I I’ve her high marks and hope she and Dean can make it work.

Tori's mother is a trip... She went to one of Tori's children's birthday parties when they were trying to reconnect and Tori's mother brought Tatum O'Neil with her to side eye Tori.... And on the other hand Tori's mother pays for all her grandchildren private schooling...

She is a strong person. She loves to take care of her children and is willing to take care of herself and her family. I wish Tori and her family the best.

Let’s be real …. Tori felt she had to forgive Dean for that affair he had in 2013 because she was exposed for having one with him as well, when they met. She knew it was her Karma coming back on her. So she sucked it up and took it on the chin, even though it hurt the hell out of her. Anyway, I hope they make it thru. Marriage has bright sunny days …. and it has storms. The friendship you have is what helps you thru the storms.

It's very noble of her to share her financial struggles with the public. Many of us think that celebrities have all of the best and have so much money that they can never run out of it, but just like anyone else, celebrities have to learn to be good stewards of their money and spend responsibly as well. They may have to be even more careful, because they have so much of it, and there are so many companies and individuals who want to steal it from them.

She is true to herself. I wish women would stop with fillers and all the augmentation surgery. It rarely ends well.

As someone who has been cut out of my parents Will, I really think she deserves so much more than she got when her Father passed!

Tori’s relationship with her mother has always hurt my heart. My late mom and I were best friends my entire life until the end. It’s been 10 years, and I still think about and miss her terribly. My friends in our 20s and 30s were in awe of our relationship and wished they had something similar with their moms. My mom was a tremendous grandmother to my daughter, as well. Candy Spelling seems to be an odd woman. How could a mother be jealous of the love between a father and daughter? I am so glad to hear that their relationship has gotten better over the years, especially for Tori’s children.

Tori’s mom was okay with her kids raised by nannies, so no wonder they weren’t close. Her mom clearly didn’t work hard to build a relationship with her when she was young. Sounds like her mom was jealous of the attention she got.

I think she's so sweet & strong. She has had a tough go with her parents & unfortunately now her marriage..its sad because they were so in love..they even had a show Tori & Dean Inn Love..I really thought they were one of those couples that would never fall apart.Hope it works for them.

She was spoiled as a child by her father and her mother was jealous of that, that's why her mother took her out to her father's will. Dean didn't help, he was a mooch,cheater and loser he was only interested in her fame and money.

I remember reading about her in People magazine, how "poor" she is next to a picture of her in a BMW.

I adore Tori. She's always been true blue and real. Coming from the background she had, it's refreshing that she is so down to earth. I was a die hard 90210 fan and will always love Tori.

Aaron was able to teach his daughter gratitude through her hard circumstances, something she didn’t have as a child. Aaron probably knew it was a lesson he wanted her to learn. I bit my tongue and sucked the bad treatment up just to have my mother in my life. She had told me she was disappointed having a Fat, uneducated, socially awkward daughter who would always be the nice girl that Never Amounted to Nothing. I was an Emergency Medical Tech and then I opened a business where I made jewelry and clothing for kids, but she never came to shop or see my creations. My mom wanted a nurse or lawyer that weighed 120 and spoke 3 languages and sadly she got, me, lol. Just three months ago I finally let her go not out of anger but because I realized I’d never be what she wanted and I’d always see on her face her disappointment. I can’t believe it but I’m actually happy like a weight was lifted. I wish Tori would realize she’s Perfect without her mother and move on. Her mother is not going to leave her the money sadly her mother will probably always blame her for her husbands death instead of realizing that it was her problem the two never got along. Mother’s and daughters are a Complicated relationship just like sisters are, lol. All families have problems, I just wish we could all agree to disagree and be a family.

I think ppl in the comments are being too judgemental towards her mom. It's obvious that her dad showed his Love inappropriately and spoiled her rotten,and didn't really include her mom. If one parent is letting you do whatever you want and the other one is constantly saying 'no', that's gonna look like rejection to a child. The anger that builds in that situation looks like it's directed solely on you.

Love Tori Spelling! Although I could not imagine her upbringing. I think she has tried so hard with her family not to replicate the way she grew up. All while fighting against the public that she is acting or writing books, whatever the case, because she's riding on her dad's coat tails. I think she has proven time and again she is a fighter and hard worker. The media is so awful and only looks for the negative, not highlighting any good that a person does, or only commenting about it at the end of any article or news show. We as consumers feed into that by buying the magazines and watching their shows. Until everyone stops noone will ever get a fair shake when it comes to actors, singer, artists what ever they are. When you reported that "Candy" , had once, been a 'model' , i spit my expresso all over my Casting Couch- Narrowly missing her 'Husband" Dean.

The truth without her father even without him actively being involved just his name would be enough and she kept that. She would never have had any chance on the silver screen neither her looks nor her personality warrant it. However good luck to her to each his own.

I wish her parents or someone had taught her how to manage money, especially when you're lucky enough to have a lot. I think parents should leave a good portion of their wealth to their children. I know her Dad was a great guy, but I wonder why he didn't leave her more.

Although I had never watched 90210 I had some vague knowledge of who Tori Spelling was. I came across NoTORIous when it was on and I loved it!! I then watched all.of her reality TV shows and loved them all. I became a big fan! I am amazed that in spite of her over the top upbringing, she is extremely down to earth, so likeable and one tough cookie!!

She didn't get to go to college! She could still enroll in classes.

Tori is a likable person who's known to most for BH90210, but to me she'll always be the girl who awkwardly & amusingly asked "Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?". That's been my 1996 movie of the week fave for over 2 decades; I never fail to inappropriately insert that question into conversations that I want to abruptly end lol.

I had high hopes for her when she performed in the indi movies 'Trick' and 'House of Yes.' She was highly entertaining in those roles. It's too bad those performances didn't lead to bigger movie parts. (I read that they were making a sequel to 'Trick' with the original cast, but that was a while ago).

I love Tori she has worked hard all her life. I have nothing but respect for her. I'm a mum of 5 and grandmother of 14, she's a lovely woman I'd love to see more of her. I believe her mother was jealous of her it's so sad,I hope her mother realises how precious a daughter and grandchildren are. Tori made a HUGE deal out of telling the world that she had no help getting the Donna Martin role and hadn't even used her real name to audition. She was embarrassed to have needed help for EVERY role she ever had so she continually denied it. This is the first time I ever heard the 'consolation part' story and I follow her career as a fan very closely!

Her mother was jealous of her daughters relationship with her father. She was a daddy's girl. It seems that Tori is the financial breadwinner in her relationship with Dean. Haven't heard anything about him contributing financially. It was on her. He probably thought he would become a millionaire especially if they divorced. He has nothing to offer another woman. He has 5 children with her and from his previous marriage. He needs her financially because it seems that he is not bringing in the money on any show, movie or tv etc without her. She is too good for him.

She has a history of financial responsibility, I always get the feeling there is more to the issues between she and her mother than the public gets to know. I watched Tori in most of her reality shows until we moved and I didn’t have that channel. Tori is much stronger than she gives herself credit for. I believe Dean is weak and saw her as an easy mark to do what he wants which isn’t much. He told her he never found her to be beautiful and I wanted to hug her. I think Tori has done enough forgiving and should cut him loose. It is time someone found her that sees all things beautiful. It is her time to be truly loved like her father did and time she was taken care of again. I watched some episodes where her Mother was coming back into her life. She is a cold and cruel woman who blamed Tori for her father’s death. Wasn’t she just a gold digger when she married him? She is not a Mother but Tori has learned to be a really good one. Tori’s children will never have to feel what she did if she is alone or not.

Her mother was jealous of her husband and daughters relationship and that is so sad and even a little sick. A mother should want the father of her children to have a loving and solid relationship. Instead she is so self serving and conceited she instead withheld a loving and secure relationship from Tori to punish her. That woman punished Tori because daddy loved her too much in her mind!
