The product does what it says. It is a one step styler that defines curls, dries quick and holds curls, the shine is debatable though, HOWEVER because it left my hair feeling hard and dry I would not buy again unless I figure out a way to use this and my hair still be soft and moisturized. The point of this product is for it to be a one step styler and I'd have to add another for softness and moisture.
