As a South African, 21:36 "This is the closest the closest place I've ever felt to South Africa" is about having probably the best weather/climate in pretty much most of the world🤣. Our winter is the equivalent of British Summer (it barely gets cold enough to need any really warm clothing), and for anyone who loves sunshine and heat, that is our summer in a nutshell.

I got a chance to meet these guys at FAJTFEST in Czech Republic and had the pleasure of playing with them the same day, rooming next to them in the hotel, such genuine dudes man and when Matt was talking about running their own Merch to meet the fans? Mannnn I felt that. They know the meaning and importance of interacting with the fans. Amazing band, amazing dudes 🔥

I was so excited for this episode and I was not disappointed one bit. This is now my favorite episode replacing the one with Manuel Gagneaux. Matt is such a funny dude and it’s awesome that he enjoys talking with fans at the merch table. The camper van talk is like movie type stuff. I think I love Kublai Khan even more now. Fantastic episode Craig.

I saw Kublai Khan at a show way back in 2014 in Houston... Matt was running the merch table... glad he still does it. I remember him being super nice. I definitely need to see them play again.

Matt remains one of the funniest dudes in the scene lol. So humble and chill too. Isaac is mad cool too. Kublai Kahn in general is just the best goddamn band. Easily the best downbeat I’ve seen thus far as well. TALK MATT IN TO STARTING A POD FROM HIS FUCKING CAMPER

I met Matt, Issac and Eric when they were in Australia last year and they were the most chill, nicest and appreciative people ever. I was already a massive fan of Kublai Khan and after chatting with them, made me appreciate them as a band even more.

Matt is literally one of the nicest people ever. I've seen KK a few times in Knoxville, TN and he always takes the time to talk to everyone. I remember a few years ago he talked to me about his grandmother passing away for probably 45 minutes but it was a great conversation and he didn't mind one bit. Super cool band and awesome guy.
