I've had plenty of creative ideas for games like Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, but I could never for the life of me, think of anything for Dragon Ball FighterZ... Until now. I've come up with an idea for a duo Nuzlocke series for DBFZ. This should be fun.

This was such a perfect random selection, not only that they get directly opposite sides of the board, but another detail is that each of their "mains" is on the opposite side from them. Besides SSB Vegeta, Deion's most used characters (Hit, Goku Black, and Janemba) are all on Doto's side. While Doto's most used characters, Krillin and Yamcha are on Deion, granted nowhere near as far as Deion's mains, but it's really cool

Doto mentioned it a tiny bit in the video, but I think a really cool little add on to the game could be if you dramatic finish your opponent you can maybe pick +2 squares away, or just some other small little bonus! Just something to really motivate y’all to go for dramatic finishes, adds a little spice! Either way can’t wait for more! (Ps, could do something similar with Shenron or other system mechanics, although that would be harder to implement considering the 1V1 format. Just food for thought!)

Love the idea for the series! Gets y'all a chance to try out more of the roster. I'm a little sad its only 1v1's though. 2v2's with the extra character having to be adjacent to the initial random and then when you move on you drop whatever character isnt adjacent to the new one would mean you get to find fun little synergies between the two characters. For example, you roll Bardock and could choose A17 as your second and you can move from either of them but have to drop the other

I really hope this series a big hit, because this is an incredible idea! The only confusion I had was, are they doing best of 44, so first to claim majority of the board at 23 characters would win the whole series. Cause if it's legit that either Deion or Doto have to claim all 44 fighterz then this series would last forever. But to be real, either way, this is gonna be the best DBF series on YT

One thing you could do to make it even more exciting is have the "must win with a 2 round lead" rule. So if its a 9-9 you need to reach 11-9. Gives more comeback chances, more hype, more excitement. But boy, was that 8-9 clutch hype as hell.

I feel like it would be better if you can only choose characters that are adjacent to your CURRENT/LAST character, because if not all you have to do is get the middle row and you can choose EVERY single character left, which kind of defeats the purpose of the boardgame design.

2 things 1: it’s highly ironic that both Doto and Dieon got the reverse side of the board as their mains (Doto mains hero’s gets villains | Deion mains villains gets hero’s) 2: both Dotos and Deion’s ability to adapt quickly is crazy. They went from either not knowing the character or being as rusty as a 2000 year old sword to actually hitting TOD combos
