SUGGESTION, I remember that you don’t like the fountain surround you bought….how about sinking it into the ground with only the coping stones showing. I have often seen this done. Your pool of water is almost ground level but your fountain still stands out.

Love that you start the video with the weather. I do that every day here in the U.S. as well, because here in Michigan, our weather changes by the hour. The table settings always look wonderful. Galahad is such a happy little guy and looks great in whatever he wears.

Mushrooms grow where organic matter, such as wood, is decomposing.

@@BethSimms-pp6iy Yes. When you see "fairy rings" of mushrooms growing in a circular pattern for no apparent reason, it is because a tree once stood there. The mushroom spores can remain long after the tree is gone.

Mulch areas, which is primarily what the walkway is made of, is an excellent medium to grow mushrooms. They actually sell “mushroom mulch” here in America. What mummy should do is drop spores from the mushrooms she likes in that area. Right now, the mushrooms there are replanting themselves!

Mushrooms in my area of the state(Pennsylvania) are only grown in rotted horse manure composted in wheat straw only. The mushroom farmers will happily haul it away for you, but they will NOT take the manure with wood shavings…so, no, the wood chips are not used to grow edible mushrooms….

I don't know if it will help with figs but here in Nova Scotia alot of fruit trees are covered in a very fine netting to keep frost off but allows them longer ripening time especially on grapes

You can try to take all the really small figs of the plant and the tips of the growth. They the energy will go to the ripening of the ones left

Our fig tree produces lovely ripe figs but there are always as many small hard figs that just dont ripen. They should be ripe and finished by now. Lovely to see Annalise x

It is such a ´joy watching LaLande continuing to bloom. What ever happened to Nattie's apt? I am still a bit disoriented to the layout of the chateau and what is where. Maybe it is now a project for British TV. I watch every Chateau Diaries video so I don't think I missed anything. Amary's workshop is another masterpiece.What a great solution to very uneven floors.
