Flashback to December 28, 2018... Rumor has it that a Lady in Red haunts the Drake Hotel in Chicago. She allegedly committed suicide n the hotel during a New Year's Eve gala after she caught her fiance -or husband, depending on who's telling the story- cheating on her.
Many guests have reported seeing a Lady in Red apparition on the hotel's 10th floor. But that's not the only place her ghost has been spotted. She's also been seen in the Gold Coast Room and the Palm Court.
When we checked in, I asked about potential paranormal activity in the hotel. The front desk clerk said he'd heard the rumors about the Woman in Red, but he had never seen anything. However, the 10th floor did feel "darker" to him.
Why? I went to investigate that (and found out) and to see if the Woman in Red might materialize for me. Which she didn't, but I did find some creepy-looking little "beings" of another variety...
