The mass changes are well worth the collateral by enabling entire new strategies around footlords working - and I'm glad it means people are using Loremasters at last. I really like them, and in this situation where you can force a land encounter to mob up on extremely tough characters, it's great.
Ayy i made a video nice! Yea Tyrion is the anvil in this build, he really needs immune to psych though, half the time the heart will pop and you'll get no value because he's routing lol.
@@thenoobprincev2529 Nothing you can say can convince me that Tyrion should not get immune to physc. I've been playing online games with him since i got into MP. When his HP gets low a lot of the time he still has 10 leadership or so, problem is he's usually fighting a terror causing lord and so he terror routs either during or right before a prok. It will usually cost you the game.
Thanks for the video! It was a cool build developed for the high elves. Take it from me Turin, High Elves are awesome! And once you learn their basics, they can beat any faction. But that is just me. I am well aware the other factions are strong in their own ways.
Both Dahv and Turin have now casted HE matches where they've used no front line. And actually, I kind of love it. Even Wood Elves, the premier skirmish faction, still usually come in with 3-4 Eternal Guard. It gives the HE an interesting and unique "flavor"...but it also demonstrates just how worthless (or overpriced, depending on your view) Martial Prowess/Mastery really is.
I do not think it demonstrates this at all. It is just very cost inefficient to give GS a frontline.... as you would play right into their strength. The majority of their rosta screams; stay away from me and shoot me :)
That greenskin player was constantly overcasting the Spirit Leech, even tho he was only a few meters away from the target, probably a good idea to double check the spell description next time.
To be fair to the player overcasting as a mechanic is very poorly explained in game. It feels basic to people who are regular multiplayer viewers or participants, but the game itself doesn't do much to encourage players to understand the effects of overcasting.
@@rishabhwatts1676 Well it's more so that when they kill the adults, there are still usually some cubs around, they just take them and raise them. Also it's said some mages can tame them through magic and bind entire packs to their will.
People always underestimate how disgustingly powerful Tyrion is, especially with Feint & Riposte. I guess if nothing else the Greenskins can at least consider the fact that they got the Heart of Averlorn to trigger, hence permanently ruining Tyrions outlook on his relationship with Alarielle to be somewhat of a victory.
Btw, am I the only one who likes to intentionally misnomer abilities? I tend to call the Heart of Averlorn "Tyrion's too horrible to die" because it's funny to me.
Awesome and unique build! The only Underwhelming part in my idea was the White lions. They are not excactly made to be Grind Infantry.Perhabs Phoneix Guard would have been better?Esp if you can make room for the exploding RoR PG.
Thank you! Tbh the Puremane are there to simply support tyrion as long as possible and arent really intended for the long run. They provide physical resist to mitigate damage on tyrion and the loremaster, and armor sundering to help with sunfangs or archer targets.
@@riderofrohan8894 I do understand,I actually didn't noticed the Idea of using Armour Sundering for better sunfangs.still,The Phys Resist does not matter much when They dont stand around enough to provide it.
I think Tyrion 1v1. Tryrion's MA/MD is just superior, especially with feint and riposte. Sigvald's regen is more tanky in an infantry grind, but he can still get killed surprisingly quickly when going against something with very high melee attack and weapon strength
I think Tyrion definitely used to win, his combat stats are just insane compared to essentially anything else on the game. I think siggy got an ap buff since I’d last seen a clean 1v1 and combined with his regen and excellent MD perhaps he could grind out Tyrion. I feel though that Tyrion could outgrind siggys auric armour while sigvald wouldn’t be able to prevent the heart of averlorn going off, meaning Tyrion would likely end the fight on almost full health or perhaps even before the heart goes off.
@@stripes8812 I think this is talking about purely multiplayer, Tyrion also gets increases to his stats on campaign too, so even on campaign I still think tyrion would win, foot tyrion at least can out duel kholek at least some of the time, though not everytime and certainly not while mounted as that makes him large. This showcases how strong he is, since he was against black orks that would be able to trade very well against him with high ap and MA and he still easily got his value while still having a nearly full healthbar. Against other infantry with lightarmor and low ap that cant touch him hed survive forever and roast them with sun fang if you took the build shown here. Grimgor with his new buffs especially with infantry advantage would Crump him real good though
In a straight 1v1 Tyrion wins, but Sigvald is faster and has perfect vigor so he can easily cheese Tyrion by running around and kiting him while abusing his massive regen and exhausting Tyrion.
My friend Turin one of your loyal followers needs you help Me playing Borrowed legion for a while and every thing was fine for me i was able to pierce through Empire and Bretonnia with ease and conquered all bretonnians and a bit of the empire with the help of both vlad and manfred but things got ugly when high elves entered the fight and brought their stacks of doom I'm stock in my place and they just descend upon me every turn with 2-3 full stack of arcane phoenix and sisters of averlon and dragon princes I really haven't any answer to those phoenixes they just annihilate every thing in my armies what should i do with those endless stacks of arcane doom? Currently my economy doesn't stand for blood knights and if i want to bring blood knights then they are exposed to elite elven infantries specially phoenix guards If i bring vargulfs they kill them if i bring ethereal troops they eat them if i bring mortis engine and black coaches again they destroy them None of infantries can stand against them not my monsters even Terrorghiests can't match them Arcane phoenixes destroy terrorghiests in melee I just getting tired of this nonsense What should i do?
cheese, magic, ambush, lightning strike. spam goose/vampires...but that's not an instant thing. get some bats/doggos and run them about drawing away half the AI army. mounted single until running in circles to make them waste their ammo routes with terror/doom and darkness by the edge of the map heroic action spam
Poor HE, the only way to get some HE wins on the channel seems to be using Quick Battle ladder games against new players :( This is despite there being 100s of tournament level games played in the background
...which are given to a very feeble faction with low lifepoint-pool and hight price tags - sure - take it away and run them cheap, trillion lifepoint units with high weapon strength into those pointi ears without any remedy. maybe we could even find more ways to nerf this OP faction... maybe then finally fewer people will play them competitively... oh wait? Few people do? Strange :)
@@knighthood1227 have you ever faced a shredder of lustria and a slann mage with lore of life? the shredder becomes unkillable. the star of avelorn should not be able give tyrion a second life +aoe heal. overall magic is annoying op in many cases, point and klick high damage never misses single target spells are just bs. buffs and debuffs are fine, net spells are so damn unfun broken with theyre stupid long duration
@@rain89skarlet80 with most players I would say, that the shredder is not competitive. Play HE more often and find out how rarely Tyrion gets the heal... it more oftten than not triggeres at or after the point of breaking... and he only needs to be chased off. I get your concerns regarding magic. Magic is the definition of unfairness in itself... as it breaks all standard grounds of fair competition. We have however to take into account, that this is warhammer fantasy - so there will be magic. Why single out healing? That is what I am resisting here. I find unbreakable, summons, poison and undead "unfair" too? Where is the fair strategy in Throt the unclean running up to my frontline and throwing summoned rat-ogres into my boltthrowers in the backline? How are draining effects fair? Not to be mean, but it's usually the inexperienced players being confronted with something a couple of times and just because they do not take the time figuring out how to deal with it, find it unfair and OP.... while tournament players rarely pick it, because they think HE are too weak, even with the heals.
@@knighthood1227 no problem i dont feel offended in any way. and true summons aso are also pretty bs. but beeing not competitiv doesnt mean how rediculous unfun it is to play against shredder + slann combo. and beeing a large target means nothing when you not play a full missile build. ( i played skaven in that scenario vs lizzardman) yeah sure i took only 1 warplightning cannon + 2 jezzails in my build, and of course i dont want those things beeing able to kill the shredder in 3min but my whole army couldnt do a shit 🤣
