I haven't seen this in about 10 years and forgot how much I loved it.

16 years ago my uncle was murdered. He was close in age so he was more like my big brother. For my birthday in August my aunt used some of his life insurance to get me a guitar as his final gift to me. Terra Naomi posted this song shortly after and it brought me to tears when I heard it. First song I learned to play on a guitar and I played it for so many for years as I slowly spiraled into a drug fueled nightmare. Been sober nearly 10 years now but I still come back here from time to time to remember my tios last gift to me. I still play this song for my family and my son every chance I get. Its funny how alot of the comments about this song are about drugs, the kind you smoke and whatnot. Just so you all know, you should be thinking more along the lines of someone dying of cancer and the drugs that prolong their life but also cause them to suffer in the process. Thats what this song is about, the guy who wrote/sang it, wrote it for his father who had died of Cancer.
