Hahaha I used to do the cigarette trick in college. I put the ash on the tip of my finger and then told people to "put your hands out here" and when I did, I'd grab their hands to tell them where to place them (the tip of my finger with the ash would touch their palm) and since you keep it closed, you don't know until the end. That's how I did it anyway.
