Thank you for including the wings/flying over head sounds. I haven't gone out much due to my health but I'll tell you what nothing makes me more amped than hearing the wings flapping over head and the sound of them dumping their wings.
Not sure how you guys nailed down to capture the audio of those birds cupped on final but it was awesome. Great dog by the way, like Billy says, it's all about that Journey!
You used them already too? Ducks didn’t seem to mind them 🤷🏽♂️ I’m all about what the ducks like. Appreciate the feedback, hope you have a great season!
Think you got that wrong bro. They’re shooting them out of flocks for sure, but picking the relatively lower greenheads out of big groups isn’t flock shooting. I saw maybe 1 hen out of the 20 or so ducks they shot. History shows these guys are ethical hunters and knew exactly which duck they were shooting at.
Appreciate you watching and for the feedback jake! Definitely bigger groups than we prefer to shoot in to and we actually passed on the bigger groups this morning, pretty incredible day. Majority of the groups coming in were at least 50-75 birds, nuts. Thanks again for the feedback, hope you have a great season!
I hunt arkansas and Central illinois. What I'm seeing blows my mind. Theyre decoy shy and call shy where I used to get away with murder up here in Illinois. Had ducks damn near landing in boat AND THEN PHIL ROBERTSON MADE DUCK HUNTING COOL. Now I'm desperately applying raffia to a blind that worked for decades and now it dont. Thank you social media..it only took 15 years to turn the duck world upside down and inside out "for a few duck err bucks more". Big money. Big prizes
Idk about nothing about no big money but more hunters ensures the future of conservation in a world that is certainly rapidly changing. Gladly share our passion with as many folks as we can!
Thanks so much for watching Clay, and the feedback, really appreciate it. We had been watching these ducks stage here, quickly move to multiple feeds, then back to roost for a couple days. That’s where they wanted to be that morning so we made sure we were waiting on them, I personally would much rather be on water, long as it ain’t a roost of course, but that’s just me 🤷🏽♂️
