The Duke and Duchess of Sussex introduce Baby Archie to the public

Prince Harry and Meghan have taken part in a photo call with their new born baby boy today in Windsor Castle.
UPDATE: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have now revealed that their son is called Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. The Queen, The Duke of Windsor and Doria Ragland have all met Archie.
Prince Harry emerged carrying the new baby boy with Meghan by his side. This is the first time they have shown their new baby to the world having taken the decision to not stand on the steps of the Lindo Wing as Kate and Princess Diana had done previously.
They talked about how calm the baby has been and that they are off to meet the Queen and Prince Phillip later today. They also thanked the public for all the well wishes from the public.
The Duchess of Sussex gave birth to a baby boy in the early hours of 6th May 2019. It has been confirmed that Meghan gave birth at 5.26am and that the baby weighed 7lbs 3oz. This is the first baby for both Prince Harry and Meghan who got married last May.
Meghan's mother Doria is also now at Frogmore Cottage with the couple and the palace announced that "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news."

Shedding tears of joy in America!! I've always said Harry would be the one holding Baby Sussex! That wretched grief stricken face of a 12 year old little boy has now been forever been erased by Harry's ecstatic countenance brimming with pride, happiness, and love!!! I have done that in the past and realized my mistake and gone back and deleted my comment , maybe you haven't had time to do that yet but you should. this is a happy occasion and i think her sentiment is appropriate. I remember diana dying and where i was and what i was doing and i also remember those poor boys faces for years afterwards. I lost a parent when i was much younger than they were and i know that pain. Its so nice to see them both happy and healthy and honoring their mother as well as their grandmother. If you Tigerlily don't feel that way then why watch and definitely keep your hate to yourself no one wants it here! or if you must, then post it on your page somewhere else!

@@Khemani_RL Actually Prince George and Prince Louis moved their hands quite a lot and and can see Princess Charlottes face move. Sleeping babies often move and make a lot of noise. Unlike adults, babies don’t produce the hormones that make muscles relax when they sleep. Of course, this doesn’t mean it’s impossible for a baby to be completely still with all those noises and flashing lights, but it’s slightly odd.

@@nicolelake5848 Thanks for that info. It was quite interesting 👍 If you look closely in this video, you can tell that Meghan gained a bit of weight and she looks exhausted. Which of course happens to every pregnant woman. The same thing happened to Kate. So people can’t really deny her pregnancy

When I was a new mum I would have panicked if I saw my baby being that still. Perhaps that’s why Meghan looked nervous? Or maybe they did use a fake baby for this? Maybe they weren’t ready to present Archie and Meghan was eager to get back to their actual baby?

i hope its ok i liked your comment i'm American but some of us loved Diana and love those boys too and though they are 100% British boys! i still admire them and wish them all the love and luck in the world. Lord knows i cried and cried for days when their mother died she wasn't perfect but she was such a good person and she raised those boys as long as she had them, to be good too , and obviously not by herself but i see the goodness of Diana in them. (not saying Charles wasn't it just didn't show like it did with Diana)

appletongallery babies sleep. All the time. Through everything. I took my newborn to a movie theater because he never cried, and he slept through the entire thing. All of my babies were carried fast asleep. Swaddled in my or my husband’s arms. They slept in their car seats and she. Being held, especially in the early days. I had to wake my youngest two up to make them eat because they’d sleep through feeding times as well. You are an absolute tool. Your idiocy is truly unmatched, and your tin foil hat has fallen off-better go get it before the wind blows it away!
