Sorrell Booke was frequently recognized in public, usually by children, and their first question was almost always "when are you going to catch the dukes?" He would put on his Boss Hogg voice and answer "I DO ketch 'em. I ketch 'em all the time. But that stupid Roscoe, he lets 'em get away."

Remember watching the Dukes on a Saturday Evening after an early dinner, my Grandma god rest her always believed Boss Hogg actually ate all those plates stacked with food, real innocence, no 4 letter words, just wholesome family viewing, God how i miss those days,

They had like 3 of them at least. They kept wrecking them, but the car was as much a star in the show as the Duke Brothers. My acting professor worked with Tom Wopat during the summer when he did stock theater. He was apparently a really nice guy, and the show was his big break.

Army Angler i'm a 47 year old black dude and i grew up watching "them dukes" and i'm mad as fu*ck that i can not see it on t.v. there is not anything racist about the show and i also grew up watching Hee Haw too LOL.

Joseph Culpepper The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, The Pacific, Mad Men, Dexter, The Office, Narcos, etc, all shows better than this crap. Dukes of Hazard is no different than any other generic show like it. The only difference between it and other shows is that it tickles your southern pride.

The jump at 2:58 As a kid, I remember seeing it one week in advance ("on the NEXT Dukes....!) and then waiting all week to catch it on the next episode. I thought that rear angle zoom shot was the coolest thing I'd ever seen...the car even yawed to the right while airborne. So silly looking back on it.

Some of my oldest memories are of loving the dukes of hazard car. I barely remember the show I didn't even know what hazard meant but it was just as big as star wars for us babies. The confederate flag will always symbolize the magic of the dukes of hazard for me. lol!

Even in the summer, during reruns, you had to stop playin, to get home by 8. Part of what made the late 70s-early 80s, the greatest time ever. Disgusting what evil has now done to the world. Unnecessary, at the least.

I had a 72 Monte Carlo with a 400 small block with a board Warner t10 transmission with a b&m shift kit in it. The Duke Family and the flying cars were fun, but what made this show hilarious was Boss Hogg, Roscoe, and the deputies pulling off some great slapstick comedy.

Even as little back as 2010 things were so different and seemed so nornal. You could joke around and not walk on egg shells. Everyone seemed so much happier. I think the internet is making things suck cause everyone gets a voice even if they're crazy

Michael Stevenson cancelled because they started using toy cars instead of real ones for the chase scenes. Plus the writing was really suffering by season 7.
