The old lady wasn't dumb. How was she to know her own son would do that to her? The sad part is from the ladies trusting nature she would have likely gave him some of the money anyway..
Less fun and more utterly depressing, the difference i could make in not just my own life, but in the lives of those i care about with just a fraction of what some of them win, only for those people to blow it all away is truly insane to me.
@Witty Witty I was saying that us motheres always let our kids come back!! We love them unconditionally!! ......at the same time, none of us(if we are adults!) should expect ANYTHING from EITHER of our parents, fathers included, my comment had nothing to do with gender!!
At one of my shops there's a customer who comes everyday and plays scratchers for atleast 50 a day. He works in the restaurant right next to us. A few months ago he won a jackpot for 750 grand. He let his niece claim it and she didn't take any money and helped him go back to his home in Mexico and settle. The thing is that he's been playing for over 20 years and has only 1 jackpot, he's probably spent more than 500k just playing scratchers. But I'm glad he got to go back to his family.
@PK He worked in the restaurant next to my store. 12 hours a day I believe, no days off. So he managed to save enough, every now and then he would play less or not play at all. But sometimes he played 200 or 300.
@Aiv I didn't mean he couldn't save that much money, what I meant was he likely wouldn't have saved £50 a day. I could put £50 a day into a savings account but I either lack the self control and spend it or I need it to pay a bill or fix my car. That's what I meant, the ability/will power to save that much money a day.
That last one makes me mad. My mother died before my father so their estate was set up to where I was supposed to inherit a decent chunk of money. For two weeks I tried to get out of dealing with it hoping it would revert to my dad. Unfortunately I had to go into that lawyer's office but thankfully he already had paperwork drawn up that I could sign my inheritance back over to its rightful owner, my dad.
@@itsAurora-zq8cb it does for the most part. Prime example that guy who was so cruel to his own Mother by taking the money and running. See if you present a person money their true selves come out.
Imagine having the heart to your own mother who raised and cared for, you the betrayal 😔. Also I don't like how you called that dumb she actually thought her son was trustworthy but he was just greedy
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;repent from yours sins and accept christ as lord And savior
Could be the biggest payback regarding the son? Who knows what that mother did do deserve such betrayal... or He's just the biggest ASS like everyone is saying ;-)
Blood is fickle anyways, had to sacrifice mine for security of the family I am creating myself. My blood family was a literal detriment to the existence of me and the family I’m creating, so what’s the use of keeping them around? They betrayed my trust not for money, but for rank in the family, it was pathetic.
I once heard a story about a guy that would always use the same numbers. One day he decided out of noway to change them and that was the day his usual numbers were the winning ones.
That is truly ridiculous. Many families have millions, and don't treat each other badly because of it, or try to "get some" of that money. My own family has both rich members and poor members, but the poor members aren't trying to hustle the rich members. I'm sure that's true of the majority, too. These money hustlers are NOT normal.
@Russell Hughesthey would trouble themselves with it because even if she wouldn’t do it for them it doesn’t stop people from doing for her it’s called being a good person
@Russell Hughes I disagree people like them will never learn. I don't put with put that are selfish and greedy. The best thing you can do is let them be who they are. They aren't gonna make upstairs after this life.
I waited to hear someone that was the dumbest. All I heard was one person that was addicted to gambling, one person that was inattentive and one person who was cheated by someone she trusted.
@@pm2886 agreed it is dumb, literally couldve saved 1-2 million in a savings account. Or better yet invested half of the money and you're set comfortably for life. The second one is kinda dumb too, granted probably 90% of us would do that too.. but if u spent money for a lotto ticket.. why not keep it to see if u won or not
@Witty Witty Here you dropped something.. Dumbest human living award! Oh wait wrong award Dumbest monster living award! First of all there's no such thing in the law said you can use or have you're parents fortune. Unless they die of course but only if they didn't had an agreement or so to give it to a person or so their children automatically have them. In this case she may be elderly but the son had no rights to take that lottery win her mother could propably had sued him but it would actually take big time of money to sue him since her mother truster her son and gave her lottery check. Don't be sexist here you're also the type of person who would count how many times they have helped. It doesn't help doing others what they did to you. Stfu and you said women waste their father's money so because some of them does it means women doesn't deserve rights? Well men rape womens Men rape CHILDRENS More cases of men rape childrens than womens infact it is incomparable. Men do more drugs than women do Men kill often than woman do Men abuse their wives more than womans do Shut the hell up and stop comparing mens to womens just because you're a genderless monster. How would you know also that his mother spend her father's money when she was young? I hope one day you trip and get a pile of dog shit into you're mouth.
@Witty Witty Also stop spamming this comment in every people comments about the mother. You should have no human rights people like you make me lose iq.
Evelyn's son is up there with "worst son's in history," but holds the distinction of being the only one of them who didn't win their award by murdering either then, or their sibling right in front of them. I have to assume there's more to this story. Why didn't she sue him? If she was shaking so badly as to be unable to sign it therefore needing him to do it, someone must have witnessed it, as well as the store owner who sold it to her because he would have gotten a chunk of change for being the lottery agent who sold the winning ticket.
@Witty Witty dude you're literally copypasting the same comment everywhere. What he did was wrong because it wasn't his money, period. Doesn't matter if the winner was his mother, father, sister or the family dog. Also, women don't 'waste their fathers's money', they are dependent on their parents because they AREN'T ADULTS AND CAN'T WORK until they reach a certain age. Please never have children.
I’d like to meet the son from the last story. He needs to be taught a lesson or two about respecting his mama. And those lessons should involve a lot of pain. That’s just unbelievable to me that somebody could be so heartless, gutless and evil.
The last one. It's a sad world we live in, when a person you trust does something like this. You can't trust the people that you trust. The love of money is the root of all evil.
I disagree. Evil people are evil regardless of their access to money or desire for it. Many people also pursue money for noble purposes. Money can't be the root of all evil because that implies money which is just a tool for trading, is causing evil, which means trading things with others would cause evil, meaning any form of cooperation would also need to be evil. That's because money is simply a tool to make it easier for people to exchange their goods, without money you'd still be trading corn for apples and so on and you'd be paid for your work in for example grain... and then people like you would say hohoho grain is the root of all evil.. do you see how ridiculous that idea is
That last one really bummed me out. Sad to know those kind of people exist. His own mother... She probably would have helped him so much more than he could know and left him the rest when she died being she was already so quite old.
@Witty Witty whether or not the old lady should be in the dumbest lottery winners list doesn't really matter, but one thing is for sure, you have written the dumbest comment ever.
I just have one question: What type of a jerky son would do that to their own mother? I bet he has no friends and no money so he benefited himself off of everything single things his mother did
It depends, if his mother was a good mother he's a POS even with some semi bad mother's, if his mother was a bad mother then good for him I've seen some mother in law's and ppls mother's that I didn't think existed, beyond cruel and using ppl that's the only way I'm okay with it if she was
@Witty Witty that is never what any of us were saying. The point is the the WOMAN won the lottery and asked for her won to sign the lottery check for her in HER name but the son wrote it in HIS name and never spent any money on the mom. That was his moms money. She had won not the son. I'm not saying the gender roles. I'm saying that the son took advantage of the situation and never spent any money on the mom who won it not him
That last one was just sad takes a certain someone to do that to his mom I think that's the problem with so many big winners they blow it all, instead of investing and making the money work for them..
Reminds me of the guy that had over ten million (not sure) in bitcoin but couldn’t remember his password scary cuz if I was in that position I would honestly off myself imagine your dreams being a pass phrase away horrible
I bought my first lottery ticket in Wisconsin. I stopped at the same gas station and grabbed this free newspaper that had the numbers. I swear to god I got 5 outa 6 but when I saw I didn’t match them all I assumed I lost. Didn’t realize I was a moron until 10 years later. Yup
The first one is a classic case of greed just like the last. The last was really sad. But when you have something good take it and run dont try to double down you just had luck chances of it hitting over and over is slim
I used to play the same numbers everytime. I stopped on the day of my parent's golden wedding anniversary. Running late for the party I didn't have time to buy my ticket. That night my numbers were drawn and nobody had them, I would have won £6.5 million. Since then I only play lucky dips.
When I was like 12 years old or so in the mid 90's, this one day I kept having the same 4 digit number pop up. I was gonna tell my mom to go grab a pick4 ticket for that number but I forgot. That night when they did the lottery drawings I saw that the number came out. The most we would've won is $10k but my mom was raising 3 kids off like $6/hour, that 10k would've been a blessing. I didn't tell my mom until years later cuz I thought she'd be pissed.
Its much better that Evelyn let his son sign the papers because if not, he might kill her to get all her money. She's not dumb, she just know what might happen next.
What do you mean "stole 18 years of her life" bro he didn't ask to be born, plus he's her son. Please don't become a parent with an attitude like that.
@@blue_the_duke Do not worry, this is one of those people who resents children as parasites who biologically brainwash their parents into caring for them. They probably got themselves sterilised already just to make sure they never have to worry about spiritually rewarding experiences, having a legacy, or anyone caring when they die.
@@skys6655 maybe you should be less grateful for being forced into this shitty world then expect to fend for yourself as if you chose to be alive. Stop licking boots.
ETTA MAY had a Heart of Gold in life.. But sadly she also had a Son that truly Revealed his Heart of Blackness !! 😡😟 Reside in Paradise Etta, n May God Bless your kind/caring Soul. AMEN. 💙
What the fuck are you talking about? No seriously what is your comment like it makes no sense. what are you thinking about? They go broke because they are dumb and what do you mean most? Bro this makes no sense why did you comment this? Bruh like what is the idea here? Explain please.
@@Th3-808 because when you have money that’s given to you (unearned) most people do dumb shit with it. So giving someone unearned money who isn’t good with it they will just be worse now they have more.
How do you do that to your mom? The fact she even asked him to claim the prize for her shows the love & trust she had in him but he didn’t feel the same. My purpose of even wanting to reach millionaire status is to share wealth with my immediate family.
1st case: She just never had enough. She is just learning now that $5.4M was really enough. Woman that allowed someone else to claim her winnings. You really need to get some common sense.
SHE IS OLD AND TRUSTED HER SON AS IN HER OWN BLOOD THAT SHE TOOK CARE OF AND RAISED AND GOT BACKSTABBED. HOW CAN YIU BE SO BLIND TO NOT UNDERSTAND SHE WAS SHAKING AND THEN GOT UTTERLY BETRAYED LIKE THAT. DONT BLÂME A MOTHER FOR TRUSTING HER SON
So you took up and understood the 1st case about a woman GAMBLING millions away, but called an old woman dumb basically for trusting her son, her blood, to get the lottery winnings?? So you and the fools that liked your comment paid absolutely no attention to the post... Got it!
The son would do that to a mother that is selfish, cruel and vindictive. Enduring a childhood full of abusively oppressive experiences that never approved of anything he would do, achieve or accomplish. A mother that only looked at her son as an obligatory burden, hating everyone in his life as friends or companions and resentfully disapproves of any girlfriend no matter how beautiful or nice. One has to understand that a son wouldn't do that to a mother that doesn't deserve it, in some way or another. I'm happy for him if he did it in reciprocity, but may he burn in hell if in betrayal.
He could have also grown up spoiled and entitled and never learned to respect his mother as a human being, rather seeing her as a slave/servant who is there to fulfill his narcissistic needs. That happens too and some of those types end up killing their parents for the insurance money if they have any. Some people are just snakes.
Even if what everything u said somehow were true, what he did was evil nonetheless. He went from being the victim to being the same as her, if if not more because that is his mother no matter what. U don’t have to stay with someone who hurts u, but deceiving and taking what’s theirs, especially ur own mother isn’t right
A son could indeed do that to a mother who didn’t deserve it! Have you not seen the stories of son’s murdering their mother just to get their life insurance or the house or other inheritance? Greed!
The love of money is the root of all evil in this fallen world I feel for these people because “Gods people perish for lack of knowledge” If you ever win first thing to do is give 1/10 away IMMEDIATELY for A GOOD GODGIVEN CAUASE - protection 🙏🏽✝️
Yeeeaaah I don’t know about that. The first one, definitely. The second one? Debatable. But calling a little old lady “dumb” because she entrusted the ticket with one of the people she’s trusted most, her own son? That doesn’t sit right with me.
The very instant that money becomes involved, family goes out the window. Lifelong, inseparable friendships have been ruined over a few thousand dollars
