It's an estuary it's a mix of salt and river water. What will be interesting video maybe might be Ulundi, it's the capital of the Zulu people but not many people live or even got there, and what does the Zulu kings palace look like.

Tx for sharing. Blue Lagoon is lovely place to relax. There is places to buy food and public toilets so u can spend an entire day here. The promenade takes you to Suncoast Casino and Ushaka Marine world, if u enjoy walking and there is even the Green hub to hire to have parties and get together s. So catch the sun set or sun rise and enjoy

This is not blue lagoon ...its on the other side of the bridge...This area is called Coconut groove...big writing on top of buildings...😮😢😢😢Are you not from Durbs...the umgeni river leads to the blue lagoon..and opposite coconut groove wat you witnessing and explaining is infact a man made lake extension which doesnt have an outlet😮😢❤

U certainly watched 2 minutes of the video. This walk is from the park, asked locals to witness and they did and proceeded to blue Lagoon Beach. Please do watch full video before commenting. There are many signs written blue lagoon and it's blue Lagoon. Maybe you don't know the place well.

Umgeni river. There is no Ethekwini and Umhlanga. Ethekwini is the municipality for the city of Durban and sarounding areas like, Durban CBD, UMHLANGA etc

When I was small i sit at mourh of the ocean we will use tractor tubes and ride in the umngeni river i was 4 years old 😂😂😂

I have realised that old times was the best experience whether was it at home or even just driving around with parents or relatives. There are things I really miss though 😃
