I remember seeing him driving in to Galway, in heavy traffic one day, as I was walking home. I recognized him in his van, and he flashed me a smile I will never forget...May God be good to him and his family RIP +++, he did comedy without going beyond the pale..."

He had a beautiful singing voice…so melodic, i’ll always remember him from the safe cross code song from that iconic 80’s advert. Had the pleasure of meeting him more than one, very gracious man. RIP.
