The eagle products 1.5ltr kettle  

I saw the contestants on Alone Norway using these and, like you, I just had to have it. Ray Mears ship to Australia so I ordered one immediately. Can’t wait to try it out. So glad you like yours.

Great video and review. I really enjoy my 1.5 liter. I’ve been using it for a little over 3 years. The copper will wear thru and expose the steel beneath but doesn’t distract from functionality. The firebox and the eagle kettle do make a great match. Thanks for the review

I was the same mate, I kept seeing this kettle and I was like I want one! I'm all about saving space and weight, so the 0.7L was perfect for me, can never see me needing more hot water. They look so authentic and I love its fire friendly in many ways!

I do like that size kettle. I've watch for quite awhile for that kettle to come back on the market but it was always sold out so I ended up buying the only one they had, the .7L. I grew to like the size, great to pack away and just large enough for a X large cup of tea for one, me! LOL .

I had the 1.5l and the jumbo 4l versions, fantastic kettle and rock solid will last you years...mine did

Nice! My 1.5l should deliver (from ray mears) tomorrow. I thought the 1.5l was a good choice, too. If I only want .7l, I could use my 750ml toaks cup. Looking forward to brewing my first coffee with this kettle!

Thanks for doing a proper review! I have just watched a review where the guy had it in the back of his garage for six months and hadn't taken it out of its box, and at the end of the review he hadn't even put a flame under it let alone made a brew, I think he got it for free and the manufactures were pressing him for the review. A total waste of my time. Anyway yours gets a thumbs up and a subscribe.

Hi JJ Great review, thank you. Can you tell me what the lid diameter is please?. Your point about getting a 'boil in the bag' pouch in there is a good idea. It's this kettle or the Fire Maple Antarcti ( 1 Litre). But I think the Fire Maple lid is a tad smaller. ( just as 'shiney though !) and £12 cheaper...Cheers mate.

I have never seen one, but have heard of it. I guess its like trangia made in sweeden. I tend to use a small 1 1/2 litre kettle from asda very cheap made of aluminium even has a whistle. Cost £2.00 at the time i think its quite old but does the job.

These are great, i bought the 1.5L one a few years back...enjoy!

On the Eagle Products website they're a tad under £30 quid so I don't know if that extra Tenner is due to BREXIT. Didn't have you down as Ex-Guards, which - COLDSTREAM or Grenadier? Yes, I know what you mean, sometimes you just have to indulge and hence I added two more SILKY Saws to my armoury, self bought to treat myself for my birthday. I would like one of those kettles too, no distributor in Bulgaria so I will ask them in Norway what the postage will be. I expect to see it working with a sprig of Spruce in the spout as the Swedes seem to like making their hot drinks that way.

So nice to see and hear you enthusiasm for your 'precious' new 'shiny' kettle. I can relate, I own the .7liter version, bought it for its smaller weight and volume. To be honest, I use the GSI stainless kettalist more, since it can double as a cook pot, the larger lid allows storing a 100g gas cartridge, the gas-stove and other utensils right inside. The kettalist is not as pretty, but is a multiuse piece of gear. Will the 1.5Liter Eagle Products Kettle hold a gas cartridge? Or is the lid too small, like on the 0.7Liter model?
