My Son and Daughter watched Hell Freezes Over the night it premiered. They now have children in their teens. The Eagles are a glue for our family. My favorite Band. RIP Glenn
They opened with this in little old Saskatchewan, Canada 🇨🇦 in 2009. The whole performance was flawless and I was so happy to hear Glenn Frey before he passed away.
THE EAGLES MEMBERS ARE JUST INCREDIBLE, THEY DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE THEM, INCLUDING RANDY MEISNER, BERNIE LEADON, DON FELDER, STEWART SMITH AND 🙏🙏🙏 GLEN ADORABLE FREY. GREETINGS AND BLESSINGS FROM 🇲🇽.
RIP the two members of The Eagles Randy Meisner (March 8, 1946 - July 23, 2023), aged 77 Glenn Frey (November 6, 1948 - January 18, 2016), aged 67 You will be remembered as legends.
My girls were 6 and 3 when I watched them dance in the living room to this on the TV. Now a Junior in college and a HS senior. Parents out there cherish your children it does go fast.
Amen, brother! And what I'd give to have those days back again! Let us be grateful and thankful for the time and happiness we DO have with our loved ones, and cherish every day with them!
One of the greatest if not the greatest country rock bands of the post beatles rolling stones era losing glenn frey was not only a severe blow to music but humanity
Maybe you might also like to watch the orginal Eagles play 'How Long' for the very first time as Main-Act @ PopGala'73, March 9, 1973 in ‘De Vliegermolen’, Voorburg, The Netherlands.
I remember the great Vince Gill introduced them and said something like “This is the band we all wish we could write songs like.” Every video of this song never includes Vince. How ironic that now VG is touring with Eagles
Didn't realize it's actually a cover, writer J D Souther put it on his solo record first before allowing the Eagles to rework the song in a superb way, and make it almost theirs. Souther's version is good, the Eagles' version is catchier and so nice with these close harmonies and two lead vocals. The live version takes it even to a higher level, even if it's somewhat silly to see 4 guys in a line with guitars or a bass guitar in their hands, wearing the same things.Visually, it's not terribly entertaining. But that's just a detail of course. Great double album by the way, check out the other songs if you don't know it !
Scott F Crago (°1963) joined the live shows of the band since 1994 according to Wiki, but also played with several other big names and also in Don Henley's band.
