The Early Development of Batman: Arkham City - Improving The Formula 

Because every Arkham game has a theme and improvement over previous ones 1. Asylum is for the one who don't like superhero games but love claustrophobic and horror environment. 2. Arkham City is for people who loves open world and side quests. 3. Arkham origins is for the one who loves boss fights. 4. Arkham knight is complete package with tiny bit of everything and those who prefer graphics and gameplay

I always say that each entry it’s unique to it self, so personally to me each game is equal if not one on top of the other by a little bit, such good games, not only in gameplay and mechanics but story and deconstruction of characters

​@@Skeditx95Arkham Knight doesn't really have the best gameplay tho. A solid third is boring tank fights, and the stealth combat has had all challenge removed since Batman's new abilities are super OP and downright broken (the multi-fear takedown literally gives you 4 risk-free takedowns at the start of every encounter), so only the combat sections are truthfully better than the older games which is only 1/3 of the gameplay.

Yeah Catwoman section is really EXTRA HARD

To think it's held the title for being the best for more than 10 years. Let's see if it changes this week. I still play it and asylum to this day. The Ost 👌🏾 I've said all I can about about gameplay.

@@moshymosh my views after playing Spiderman 2. AC still the best but I want to see if that changes on the 20th of October. It won't make arkham look bad in anyway shape or form.

Yeah, the first 2 games in the series are awesome

The maps roads were to damaged and covered in objects to include it from what I recall.

I believe it had to with the actual environments. They would've had to expand the streets,make the roads longer and make the buildings bigger. The PS3 wasn't powerful enough to pull it off. Also the batmobile would've been too big to fit the environment in Arkham City.

I can understand the feeling. I played mine on physical but I couldn’t get the damn disk to work for a while no matter how many times I cleaned it. I think your issue might be on their end instead of yours? I’d wait to see if it gets fixed.

I get what you’re saying and I appreciate that you like my videos enough to give me some criticism but this isn’t a review video. “The Early Development” is a series where I discuss the development of something and if its a sequel also discuss how the game was improved such as the combat system (which is why it’s so long) If I made a part 2 it would be six minutes since there’s barley anything to talk about. Theres not anything I could have discussed to extend the video length imo. I don’t make videos to aim for a large run time and honestly, personally there’s nothing I possibly talked about to make the video longer. I don’t generally discuss the narrative. Boss fights weren’t brought up in the first asylum video so there was no reason to bring it up and every piece of concept art has already been talked about in the video. The only reason the asylum video ended up being longer is because I talked A LOT about the games that were made before Asylums creation. If you cut that section out, both videos are about the same length. Plus, I genuinely found no reason to talk about Catwoman for the same reason I didn’t talk about the playable joker in asylum. It doesn’t bring anything to what I’m talking about. Especially since they hardly bring anything notable to the overall game. Sure they’re fun to play as but at best i would’ve discussed them for like 30 seconds. Maybe if this was a review series id dive deeper into the game but for this series I don’t discuss things if they’re not necessary.
