Funnily enough, Sunfire is the SOLE Marvel character to show up in any of Disney's Big Hero Six productions, aside from the team themselves. He's never seen but his civilian name is the namesake of a school in that universe.
Great video. I never knew anything about Sunfire, I knew he went on a mission with the X-Men but that he didn’t hang around. I love Marvel characters who bounce all over the universe, it makes it feel more connected.

Okay... I was reading X-Men (original recipe) from 110 to c200 as they came out. The weirdest thing is that Sunfire has an outsize place in my memory, while I thought Banshee was only in a couple of issues. Edit: Autistic me had to go look. (Mike's Amazing World rocks for quick cover/date browsing. RIP Mike) It was actually 109-210.
With Charles recruiting Wolverine, Sunfire and Warpath onto the same team in Giant Sized, it's a wonder that X-Men accomplish their goal and didn't just splinter off to all do their own thing. Weirder still that they were teamed up with Colossus, Nightcrawler and Storm (who was pretty naive at the time), who wouldn't be able to compel such loners to work together. I forget how they made it work, but I'm guessing Cyclops is on Captain America's level for keeping that team together.
Love the Hulk Hogan inspired Haussamaniacs line! I'd wear/ rep a shirt with your channel logo and Haussamaniac on it 😎👍 I'd also rep a shirt with your channel logo and the phrase "Make Mine Haussy" on it. While I'm not a fan of the modern/ current Krakoa era X-Men and the "of X" arcs, "Hauss of X" seems like a good pun title for these X-Men focused videos. I never realized that Sunfire never actually fully joined the X-Men. When I watch comic channels on youtube, I judge them by whether or not the person in the video is someone I would enjoy talking comics with if I didn't know about their youtube channel and we randomly met at my local comic shop. I definitely think you'd be a great person to talk comics/ video games/ movies/ etc. with. I wish your channel the continued success your genuine efforts deserve.
Haha thanks. I've never thought of Make Mine Haussy or Hauss of X, both are great BTW. Thanks. Part of the whole reason I started this channel was to just talk more about comic books. I think you'd be good to talk to as well. Though I rarely start conversations with strangers, it's not my personally despite doing it on RU-vid haha. But when I discover a coworker or someone likes comics then I'm off to the races chatting them up about it

@@HaussmannComics-xd3gn I hear you about being hesitant to start conversations with strangers at the comic shop. It took me a long time to even work up the nerve to start doing it. I have to fight with my (literal) ADHD brain from interrupting people while they're talking with me because something they said triggered some recollection or connection to something in my head. When I manage to make myself keep my mouth (mostly) shut and listen as much as possible, I've had some really awesome conversations with people about what books/ stories/ characters they like and dislike and why. Some of those conversations continue to swim around in my mind to this day. Even if I'm critical about something, I still want to hear from someone who genuinely likes it about why they like it. It's gotten me to change my mind about books/ arcs/ characters/ art styles over the years and give them fair shots. I'm glad to hear something/ anything I've said has had a positive impact. I suggest your channel when I talk with people IRL about comics, I hope I've managed to direct some eyes/ views your way. I'm always grateful if you have the time to reply, but I hope you never feel any pressure to respond. I know that likes and replies go with the social media territory, but I also understand and respect that people have so much going on IRL already. I really admire you/ youtubers like yourself who have it in them to put themselves out their and make what's inside their heads into reality. The loss of anonymity, the degree of commitment required to cultivate and maintain a channel, the fear of turning a hobby I love into a grind/ chore I loathe, dealing with the demon bear that is the youtube algorithm, handling the comments section and engaging with an audience; the thought of diving into all of that makes me irrationally anxious, and that's just a fraction of what you all have to deal with. And you've got three channels! Mad, MAD respect to you, sir. Have you considered founding a Happy Haussmann Hiking Association? Didn’t Dugan officially add him to the team in the Krakoan era? Made a show of officially joining the team and he had some showdowns with Fei Long. Still pretty brief all things considered
Sunfire did join the X-Men in Giant Size X-Men #1. Just because he quit after 2 issues doesn't negate his membership. The Hulk was a founding member of the Avengers, and he quit after 2 issues. If Sunfire never joined the X-Men, then the Hulk never founded the Avengers.
Agree to disagree. Sunfire agrees to help then in the next issue declines to join. To me that is him not joining. Whereas Hulk straight up joined the Avengers and then shortly decided to quit.
I like the way you speak, too many people are starting to use A.I voices and I don't like that. Anyway I wish they had did more with sunfire sister, but I guess that just wasn't in the cards.

I always thought he was a villain because i think an Xmen game classified him as one So, i was confused when i saw he was on the cover of the international X-Men team
I made a shift. I feel I improved my content and then tried it out on a new channel, which seems to be reaching a wider audience. I believe because my last audience was gained over shorts. I still have plans to continue the old channel with more Counter Measures and Rogue Files. I'm just focusing on this for a while first.
