My thing is not only how to read the numbers it was how to remember them. IV is 4 x is 10 so xiv is 14. I is 1 II IS 2 . the brain works on memory and that's why it was hard to remember every thing I can say and it's one thing to be up front about but the human brain works differently in all of use . Last night I was trying to learn to say words remember things and today I can't remember the words I was trying to say so it's remembering the numbers in that language. How to remember 12345678910 then the English language spell it out one two three four five six seven eight nine ten . Then the roman ways I, II, III, IV , SEE I CANT REMEMBER 6,7,8,9,BUT I REMEMBER 10 IS X. AND IM A PARENT. As a teacher your thought to teach math so you're mental abilities to remember is math and numbers you will remember the sequence you were thought how you remember how the books taught you but most of all it was and is on memory what worked for you might not work for our kids . just thinking of this cause 🤔 we push our kids to a real breaking point to do things but really can teachers remember every book they red if they are not a professor evey law in the there state no we won't . They would have to study it reread it over and over till they remember it along with daily activity and daily life functions. So remember it's not just learning its a way to (learn to remember it . ) memory is the key
