Guess what you don't even need that The cookies don't need to be circular to taste good at the cookies taste good it doesn't matter what shape they are
@@SOm3On3 still don't understand why that's nessacary .....use that extra time and effort to just make more cookies .....quantity over looks will win any day
That’s good for you. Personally I care if they are perfectly round. Perfectly round and cakey cookies remind me of the cookies they used to have in school. I really liked them. They weren’t perfectly round either, but they were always near perfectly round. Even if they aren’t the same cookies, the resemblance makes me happy.
Yes the cookies don’t need to be round to taste good, but when I make cookies for people, or to take to a gathering, I like to pack them into a container and having them all uniform makes it so much easier to stack or lay into rows
@@katie7748 People ask me, how do you get your cookies all the same size and shape !! I also add half of a cup of sweetened coconut to my oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. 🍪 It’s so delicious. And people who don’t like coconut love them !
But sometimes you need cookies to be shaped right. For example, if you’re gifting these to someone they might need to be a perfect circle. During holidays I use a square box and fill the box with food safe padding around the edges and stack the cookies. Sometimes perfect circles are good and sometimes spread out cookies are good
@@justsomeone2391And sometimes you have OCD and just try to find excuses to justify your need to make things look extra neat. I know, I'm exactly like this. Best is just to own it, honestly. It saves the effort of justification.
Why people kind of hating on this hack, There is literal purpose like Aesthetic for pics, or presenting them to others which i do a LOT so this hack is perfect FOR ME.
Wow, who would have thought that using a different but also round object would achieve the same thing that the cookie cutter does. it's like MAGIC! Its almost like the roundness is what makes the cookies round!
I like uneven shaped cookies...kinda rough around the edges.... it gives them that homemade appeal n adds to their charm. local bakeries deliberately make that kinda irregular shapes to make em look in house.
I honestly will eat the weird shape cookies but I’ve been using this little tip when I make cookies for my boyfriend. I’ll get the store bought cookie dough and use a cup after they are baked. Now he wants to know how they come out so perfect every time I do it. It also makes the cookies look a little thicker. Idk if it’s because the dough is shaped in squares lol ❤
I mean if I was baking cookies for like a bake sale I would probably do this but for like just casual your getting the pear shape cookie that collided with the other cookie
So if you're a person who doesn't want to have perfectly round cookies then don't do this. But that doesn't mean you need to be a jerk to this person who is showing a neat hack
❤❤❤I really make very Tasty , Crunchy n Chewy Cookies,I m proud of where I learnt them my Cookie mam , thanks for u Mam❤❤❤ whenever I share my Cookies everyone loves to have them more ❤❤❤
I didn’t even know people would use a cookie cutter for this, I swear I’ve only seen people use janky cups that look 12 years old and like they shouldn’t still be able to hold liquids 😂 you reserve taught me something here
Thank you !! I have used them for years. It makes them all the same size and shape ! How do people not know about them ! I believe even the Mrs. Fields cookie shops in the malls use a small ice cream scoop ! I spray them with PAM so the dough releases easier ! 🧸💌🎈
