What are your thoughts on the looped grounds on those PCI-E cables? Doesn't that lower the power capabilities of the cables? With less ground wire runs going from the GPU to the Power Supply I would think that it would put more strain on the few ground wires that are remaining.
I really like the mining cave kits but, the prices are way too high for my liking! I can build a similar rig for much much less. What makes the mining cave frame so expensive???
Pre-built for lazy or smooth brains. If you can't build a mining rig you shouldnt be in crypto mining cause you need to know how shit works. Its good for people making tons and want to get up and running asap.
I'm glad I figured out a way to design my own rig to fit 6-8 GPU with total cost of around $300~$400 each rig. Though it's not stackable since I didn't want to stack them anyway, I put them on wire shelf. Imagine fixing one of the rigs that's at the bottom of the stack.
Very cool setup sure has come a longgggg way since 2014 wow!!! nice adapter. very handy. also got me one just recently to adapt to nvme to ssd to upgrade from my older pc setup.
Interested in a real power button for your rigs? And a power indicator? ...and HDD indicator? and a reset button? ...and a speaker to hear post codes? I'm a small maker in Holly Hill, Florida. I made one for my rig, looking to make more. Give me a plug and I'll send some. I'm also interested in your frame dimensions. I have one of the pre-fab black frames. The spacing on yours looks different. Also kicking around the idea of a corner mounted version.
@@miningbooms these sort of prices are not possible at I'll in New Zealand not even close. Buying used maybe I got asus b250 expert,g440 cpu+fan, gskills 2x4gb ram for $355NZD evga 1200P2 and evga 1600P2 psu's for $550NZD frame $90NZD 5x EZDIY-FAB fans $65NZD. Already at $1060NZD and still need to buy risers and splitters
You can lower your power consumption even more. I also have 6x RX 6600XT and it's running 410w at the wall. If you are mining ETH you can lower core clock to 975 Mhz and have the same hashrate and also try to set memory voltage to 1330 mV or lower.
I never saw pre-builts before, nice to know. I'm limited though as being in an apt. can only handle so much power draw just 15 AMP breakers, haha., that and it would have been good to hear what the actual sound might be, seeing all the other rigs on the sound sounded kind of high, but overall, i love seeing this vid thanks RPM
My daul fan 6600 runs cool with very little fan and the 6600 use very little power. If you are somewhere with limited power availability and you either can't or just don't want to make much noise, 6600s would probably be the best cards available
Trying to get an answer for this question -- at timestamp 5:56 -- the risers are powered with 6 pin => sata cable - is this ok? I assume it is ok if a professional mining rig company is doing it but i just want to be sure
Rout the power cables through the inside of the rig on top of the psu so it doesn’t come outside of the front What’s the cost difference between prebuilt and not?
nice kit, is there something similar for EU market? I run my 6600xt micron at these settings for eth: 905 core and around 1090 mem. voltages: 640/700/1350
RedPandaMining thanks for the video just curious how the pcie cables feel on the power supply was thinking about picking one up but I’m a flux miner and typically about 150 watts per gpu. Do Think the pcie cables will be reliable enough.
Awesome content 👍 RPM I hope you change that password .. not that it’s a big deal but still don’t what people to be adding their rigs to your form lol 😂 Too bad the rig kit is so expensive .. server case for the win!
RED PANDA!! Would you be able to do a GPU Bitcoin mining rig and compare and contrast it to ASIC Bitcoin mining rigs? This would be amazing technical information, thank you greatly for your content.
Use better overclocks. Those are not ideal by any means. Something like 901 core, 675 VDD, 700 VDDCI, 1300 MVDD, 1135 Mem is both practical and should be more efficient. I don't think anyone else I know runs these overclocks mining ETH on the 6600 XT's.
for all the people with negative comments about price.. have you tried buying more than one GPU at a store all the same brand and model not easy in some cities? Good luck.
Im surprised they dont put a bead or blob of hot glue on all the connections to lock everything in place. Would have helped on that pcie to usb connection
hi, i am from Bangladesh. my name is eusuf hasan.i love your all video. i want to start mining. my budget 1000 $ . please next video about budget mining gpu rig .....please
Hey RPM Have a look at Kiwi Crypto Miner for his RX 6600 and RX 6600xt for the settings in HIVEos. You may need to tweak due to silicone lottery but they work. Then please give the guy a shout out...he deserves it
🤞🏿I trust this ☝️100% cause I even since I have been in this searching for the best bitcoin miner I never found anyone better than your platform ( the name above ⬆️ )
Hey RPM !! As always appreciate the content man but I hate to say it, I hope we don’t see more of this type of 3rd party selling. Yes it’s good it’s an all in one solution but for the price, woah !! Yr better than this man ! Peace out 👌
You are really misinforming the community with these sponsored videos.... this for thousands USD and never mentioned something that you can build it for half of the price!!!! Don't take it personally but just a reminder
It's sponsored video. Probably it's stipulated somewhere in contract not to talk about the price since that would evoke negative response. Nevertheless, it's pricey.
You pay for what you get with these. Price it out typical mining motherboard 12 pcie, risers, 2k psu, stackable frame, ssd, cpu, ram, insane cablemanagement and all built for you already (if your time is valuable that is). If you are not wiling to pay for that last 2 then don’t buy it lol half the price could means someone time is more valuable then taking the time to build one. Trust me this is a kit A LOT of people have bought simply for the fact of ease. Warranty as well.
@@miningbooms no contract. I could say whatever i want in these videos. I simply forgot to talk about price but its right at the very top of the description link is there you can see the price for yourself.
@@RedPandaMining np, i understand. There's definitely convenience factor built in the price. Everything is already put together, ready to go. For people that want easy build, this is the way. Maybe to be more transparent, mention how much it would cost to build similar rig if we sourced out the parts vs this kit.
