I would say that easy part of ds2 is unlimited healing gems and for bloodborne is getting life back quickly with agressive gameplay.

For Sekiro, I would say the easiest part about the game is how your mobility and stealth can trivialize avoiding combat. In other souls games, it can be difficult to avoid fighting in between bosses, but in Sekiro, as long as you know what you're doing and where to go, random enemies have almost no way to stopping or catching you.

The easiest thing about Sekiro by far is the stealth. You can clear entire areas without putting yourself in danger even once if you have a bit of patience.

I'd say that the easiest thing about Sekiro is the resurrection system. Having resurrections makes it much easier to experiment and play more risky, being low on health doesn't put you in nearly as much risk as other games and adds a pretty wide margin of error. Make a mistake and get killed? That's okay, you can just resurrect and keep fighting.

I think that was such a good design choice to allow you to resurrect once. Especially because 50% of your xp and sen is perma lost on death, so if you’re about to truly die then you can just run away to an idol. There’s some interesting strategies with the hidden tooth that not everyone knows about, it allows you to resurrect 2-3 times without needing a deathblow in between. But you have to kill yourself and be prepared.

The easiest part of DS1 is the armor. With the Havel set you can tank everything in the game. I wore that for the manus fight and just stood still swinging at him not even dodging and won 😅😅

Another easy thing about Elden Ring is the ash of war system. Being able to customize any weapon with a really good ability is basically saying "here's a sword, go make it the best weapon in the game"

Ashes of War can be insanely powerful. Ashes of War on weapons like the Blasphemous Blade and Moonveil really help against the tough bosses.

I agree. I found myself relying on Ashes of War heavily when it comes to bosses. I only ever go back to the 'ol R1/R2 once I run out of mana which is rare esp once you have so many flasks in the late-game.

What I loved in elden ring is the enemies groups giving potions so i dont have to rest in the next grace I found on my way and make the exploration feel longer and better until next death and its very funny to explore this world

I personally think the easiest thing about BB was the fact that you could easily parry Idk why but parrying felt easier in BB to me than in DS1 Lady Maria was mostly a acheck of reflexes to me

for me the easiest aspect of DS is the heavy armor, it can allow you to cheese estus drinks by poising through enemy attacks, where as in DS3 you can get staggered by getting blown on with fill havel.

Personally I found the easiest part of Bloodborne was the parrying. It was similar to Dark Souls in regards to parry windows, with some exceptions, but more importantly you could parry at range. This meant you didn't have to risk getting wailed on if you botched your timing. It was great!

that's exactly what I love about the souls series - they can be as hard or as easy as you want them to be, you just gotta learn the easy parts and then you can exploit to then to your liking. Once you get bored of that you can always ramp up the difficulty by avoiding those easy strats.

Easiest feature about DS1 is poise IMO, you can tank most mid-late game bosses with Havel armor and spamming R1.

Adding in that the easiest part of DS2 is definitely the lifegems… having 99 chances to fix your mistake is basically a guaranteed win so long as you play slow and careful.

I once played a run in DS2 where I could level up only three times per boss, starting at level 7 because I took the six levels for Nashandra and Aldia in advance. And boy o boy was that a fun run to play- I remember I had trouble fighting the Skeleton Lords and the Covetous Demon, and Dark Lurker and Royal Rat Authority were just pure Hell!

Personally I'd say the bell summons are the easiest part of Elden Ring, being able to have a distraction/meat shield for every boss fight takes an enormous amount of challenge out of the game and don't even get me started on the mimic tear😂

4:37 you can get about 600k souls per run on Giant Lord with Covetous Silver Serpent Ring and Tseldora set. I’m pretty sure the two parts of the Nar Alma set have a higher Soul gain boost than their Tseldora equivalents too. I run that route all the time and even the Cum Dungeon of Bloodborne can’t match it for efficiency 5:53 nah, the easiest part about Bloodborne is the Reverse Depth Chalice Dungeons. They make the game (and the grind) so much easier you can flatten every boss with very little effort. 6:25 Giant Lord one shots you no matter how high your health is after Bonfire 7, yet that route is on the easiest. Chalice Dungeons can get hard, true, but not “these enemies can literally one shot you through 99 Vit”

My list: Demon souls: havnt played DS1: can get havels armor set and just press r1 and heal without ever having to worry about anything else again DS2: ez to get over leveled BB: excluding come dungeon it is the rally system which is still super fun but makes mistakes a lot less punishing DS3: roll spam Elden Ring: bleed builds All games: use player summons to beat the game for you

I would say the easiest part of sekiro is the navigation itself, in every other game there is at least some level of difficulty in getting to the next area, be it enemy spam or weird terrain or falls at every corner, but with sekiro's mobility, the endless amounts of idols, and infinite stamina, pretty much every area except gun fort you can sprint through with ease, and even gun fort becomes trivial with a bit of practice, especially when comparing it to something like blighttown, iron keep, frigid outskirts, most of the ringed city, and tons of other areas in the series

I would argue visceral attacks in BB trivialise a lot of enemies/bosses. Especially since you can do it from a relatively safe distance in most cases too. Struggling with Gascoigne? Hit L2 a few times. Struggling with a big sack guy? Hit L2 a few times. Run out of bullets? Get yourself 5 more for the *massively expensive* (sarcasm) cost of a single blood vial. Once you got the timing of a certain move or two for the enemy type it's literally just a case of "bait em & blam em" 🤣

i think the easiest part of ds1 is honestly the interconnectivity. this doesn't apply as much on a first playthrough but the ability to reach things like the black knight halberd/sword/gs, grass crest shield, and drake sword make the rest of the game super easy, not to mention havel ring + fap ring combo, making you able to use some crazy armor that makes you basically invincible, all the aforementioned things being accessible pre-gargoyles except for super heavy armor (kinda) that you can just get by going to the garden and getting the stone set

I think the easiest part is also the runes in bloodborne, being able to have 3 of the same type like the extra damage for visceral attacks really makes the game easier in some fights, like Orphan of Kos or Lady Maria ( and parrying is easy compared to other games too)

The easiest part of Bloodborne has to be the parry system; It practically trivialises the whole game and even some bosses if you are average at parrying since there's no punishment for it. You can stay far away while shooting your gun and even if you miss, so what? Not to mention that enemies get stunned by the gun every time you shoot which cancels animations and allows you to spam gunshots to eventually get a parry.

Elden Ring: Shield tanking. Hiding behind a shield has never felt so good. Greatshields bounce a lot of enemy attacks, and guard counters are really strong. Now add a cold/bleed spear or great spear, and you don’t even need to drop your protection. Stamina? Ha! Greatshield Talisman + Scholar’s Shield, on either the Haligtree or Fingerprint greatshields. Almost nothing can touch you for a full minute. Before the 1.07 nerf, i tanked Malenia’s Waterfowl Dance at absolutely no risk to myself. There are easy modes, and then there’s “don’t even have to try” modes.

I feel that DS1 was a safe choice for me because its slow gameplay was perfect for my slow reflexes, giving me all the time I needed to make decisions and play it like an RPG. First thing I learned in that game (and what I still love) is that every combat encounter is essentially a puzzle that you need to piece together. Once you figure out a fight, it's all gravy!

The lowkey easiest thing in Sekiro is how you can cancel an attack halfway through to turn it into a parry. It's not something you really notice if you're not paying attention but it's invaluable in saving you from punishment for your timing mistakes.

In ER you can get most weapons super early... and imo that also probably one of the best things about the game, sure love me thinking up a build and then not having to waste 10 hours till i get what i need for it... Also DS1 id say one of the easiest things is just low boss HP, like one R1 attack actually does a good chunk of damage

Elden had the potentional to be the hardest, only problem was that you can create GOD character and cheese with multiple stuff (Rivers / Moon veil / Comet Azure with mimic tear). I think elden was the easiest, after that ds2 and sekiro. But once you get the idea of the parry it gets easier but nothing is promised, only pure skill! And also it is possible to do "Hard mode" if you give the charm at the beggining. Thanks for the cool video!

I have 2 problems. 1.) You mention the slower roll speed of ds1, but ds1 has the highest average roll I-frames of the whole series. Tye speed actually isnt as important. 2.) You mention the chalice dungeon getting harder, but early on, the Bloodstarved beast you fight to GET them is significantly harder that the first handful of normal dungeon. The bloodgems are definitely worth noting because a little early time investment grabbing gems can shred the whole game apart.

the protection rings cost like 3k souls to repair in dark souls 2, so you could literally opt out of losing your souls or your bloodstain so long as you could reliably farm up 3k souls without dying it's literally the series' only easy mode

Sekiro was tough until I realized I needed to break my dark souls habit of blocking/rolling. Once it clicked that I needed to stay aggressive and deflect as many enemy attacks at possible I got 10x better in like 30 min. Great game. I love how it’s still a fromsoftware game but drastically changed the mold/combat system. It’d be cool to get another game/sequel that has that type of combat and mobility, but I’m glad that they went back towards the dark souls combat philosophy with a natural progression of its development. FromSoftware is hands down my favorite game development company.

The open world can make it easier... if you know the world. As someone that does not, it's more of a double edged sword. I started out as depraved and just ran about like a headless chicken until I found Margit. I was like level 10 and just decided to git gut or go home. It took a couple of hours, but after running headfirst into a brick wall for long enough, my skills were now good enough to basically take down anything that is meant for higher levels.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that thinks that regular mobs in Elden Ring give too little runes. It took me reaching the Haligtree to make the path in front of the chapel my ideal grinding spot. And then they throw enemies of crushing difficulty, like the Crucible Knights at you, and make them give you the same amount of runes as that fire-spitting dragon pilar in Leyndell that can't turn around. And then I got to playing DS1 and I was shocked that I was leveling up consistently. Phalanx in the Painted World is my BFF. And DS2...SO MANY CONSUMABLE SOULS I'M SO RICHHHHH

sekiro easiest thing is avoiding gravity death, hands down It is the only game where you are protected from walking of a cliff, qnd the grappling hook has saved me soo many times even if I jumped. Death by gravity is the souls communit number one killer for reason and sekiro is easiest when avoiding that most terrible of deaths

I agree with most of these. DS1 was my first souls game, by the end of your first run you will easily be able to do a run under 5 hours afterwards just because you get so good at the combat system. Honestly that's kinda something I've missed about future entries. Dark souls 3 I never quite felt like I had that mastery. Like I just unga bunga greatsworded my way through the game. I think it's a positive and a negative. Because it spiced up gameplay and made it difficult for souls veterans, starting in DS3 with erratic enemies, and culminating in elden ring with the ridiculously delayed animations on bosses. I love it from like a masochistic perspective because I'm forced to always get better. But still find myself going back to comfort games like Des and dark souls because you can pick it up and just do a run so fast. Whereas the other games feel like a true commitment to playthrough again.

The other easy part of DS2 are the bosses. Literally almost every boss in the game doesn’t require rolling, just circling around them and their attacks.

The hardest thing about dark souls 3 is that I got lost and eventually gave up. Same thing with Sekiro. I ran ahead too much and then i didnt know when i was going forwards or backwards. Maybe I just suck at location. The easiest thing about Elden ring is that you have a map.
