The Captain and the brother's tackling the Llanberis path of Snowdonia National Park in Wales. Another hike completed. This was absolutely incredible, and worth it.
There are so many different paths you can choose from. If you check the Snowdonia website, it has all the necessary information regarding paths etc.
It took us 2.5 hours to get to the summit and then exactly 2.5 hours to get back down. So in total 5 hours. On average it normally takes people 2.5-3 hours to go up and then back down.
Hopefully this vlog will give you a bit of an idea of what to expect when attempting specifically the Llanberis path.

Thanks. That was good to see. I definitely been meaning to do Snowdon. Was the drive there ok?

Yeah it's definitely worth trying it and the Llanberis path is the easiest as it's just literally one straight line up and then back down. The drive itself is alright as we were coming from Birmingham so it's mainly A roads to be honest but just take it easy when driving no rush. Hope that helps 👍🏾

@@TheOnlyOneCaptain hey...I did go. A fortnight ago. I went up that path and down alone. It was tough. Just realised I need more lower leg strength. I'm training up a bit more now as I have Ben Nevis this year too. 💜🥰. Thanks for your words earlier. The weather was wet and cold as I went higher. A lot of self talk and motivation I needed it...thank God...off my bucket list. 💜

Thanks man. Yeah roughly 2.5 to 3 hours depending on fitness and how many breaks you take. But it's worth it when you get to the top 😁

Hi. Where do we park. I love to go. But wondering should I drive? I don't fancy driving but if that's the last choice I will. What you think guys?

In terms of parking the car park that we used is one of the most common car park used it's called parking in Snowdon. I've put the link in the description and if you click on it. It should open up on Google maps. Driving wise as I said in my previous comment. You have to take it easy as it's mainly A- roads and also leave early as by the time you finish the hike when coming down, lots of people will be coming up so you'll miss the rush! @@TheOnlyOneCaptain yes I set off early hopefully 😁..😧. I was concerned driving then.. climbing then driving back home. I think it's close to 113 miles for me there .

@@purplerocks7385 it'll be fine. The walk on the way back is all down hill so that'll make it much easier the muscles will be cooling down lol. Also take a rest before you set off back home. 👍🏾
