You little girls have to stop living in an imaginary faryland! When an eye is that hooded, this is one of the best options you have and it actually looks really good in real life.
@@AdviseMyStyle Seems like only you didn't figure out that your color goes over the hood and not instead and below pulling the lid down. With that attitude... no wonder
1) why are men makeup experts? 😅 2) where’s the before and after on both 3) what about your technique addresses hooded eyes 4) we don’t see the effect of aging on hooded eyes Long story short, how’d you nail the recipe for what we want to see and yet fail on every count? The makeup doesn’t even look good. I want my time back, you’re welcome for the undeserved engagement
@@AdviseMyStyleif that’s the case your short is very poorly executed. It accomplishes none of what your viewer wants from a short that tells me what I can expect and fails to provide. You’re welcome for the helpful hint, glad you won’t take it
i think everyone can do makeup... it is not a sex related thing. and.. these hooded eyes.. are extreme.. nothing to do.. whatever you do you won't see it.
Thank you! 🙌 I think people don’t understand how morphology of the face affects the final result, because they are blinded with unrealistic transformations. 🤔
Because you amateurs don’t understand … This is how the makeup will look great even when melted by the hooded lid. It also lifts her eyes which is very hard to do on very hooded eyes without using false eyelashes.
@@AdviseMyStyleisn’t your role here to communicate and instruct? If no then what are you doing? 😂 Take the feedback and get better, don’t lash out on free advice
I quite like this, I don't see the point in the criticism! I'd say the eye does look lifted, and the fact the eyeshadow gets hidden makes it like a little surprise lol. Peek-a-boo eyeshadow
You need to have the right brush that can hit both the upper fold and the crease while moving it softly across the fold to create a new ‘crease’ to put it like that. at the same time you don’t want to ignore your normal crease or it will look weird when you close your eyes. The brush should be a bit thick, being small at the point and denser at the middle. Just pat the shadow on to 2 sides of the brush (not all around it) and place it strategically. Personally I just look at my eye when they are open and look at where I need to place the shadow. In the middle part above the eye, i go very close towards the brow, because that is the part that will show. On the outer side of the eye (the skin flap) there is more leeway, but make sure to blend well ON the skin flap. But yeah the right brush is more important with hooded eyes.
That guys work and his comment to you was wrong. He knows nothing about hooded eyes. Yes, you must make a false crease. What is the brush you should use and why is it so important?
Those are definitely not deep set eyes those are hooded eyes And if you think they are the same you're DEFINITELY wrong They are two very different eye shapes
Oh come on!? Since when is hooded an eye shape!? There are only three eye shapes and everything else is a feature … All these “new age kids on the block” inventing hot water 🙄
@AdviseMyStyle Technically, it's not a "hooded eye", it is a "hooded eyelid". This is where some skin droops down and covers part of the eyelid. You're right to say that it's not a brand new eye shape. It's just the structure of the eyelid. However, there are ways to deal with the hooded eyelid that don't "drag down" the eye, and emphasize the heaviness of the hooded/sagging lid. I have hooded eyelids myself. I reccomend looking into makeup looks that work well for our eyelid type. Being defensive and aggressive does not benefit your makeup skills or abilities. It only makes you seem unnecessarily mean in the face of an opprotunity to learn. We artists are always learning. There is nothing wrong with accepting feedback with grace and learning from it.
@@AdviseMyStylethat’s why people put on eyeshadow - to show off when we blink. Boi learn the assignment before writing a tutorial. This is terrible on all counts.
@@AdviseMyStyleI don't think you understand how to do makeup OR take a hint. The majority of these comments are telling you you're wrong because most of us can do better than this.
I have very hooded eyes . Now that I’m 65 the skin is pooling and laying on my poor eyelashes. I don’t even bother with eye makeup. I focus on my skincare to try to distract
The shadow is not being done correctly. Go over your crease line in the shape of a 7 if you dont go higher you wont see any color or get a lifted effect in the shadow area. What he did nothing for her shadow game; just emphasized her deeper lid more
Yeah but there are so many good tutorials how to apply make-up on hooded eyes in such a way that you can see the make-up. I have extremely hooded and downturned eyes, so I regularly watch these videos. Here, the make-up simply does not show 🤷♀️
This is easy? It's not difficult but too many steps and details. Obviously done by a makeup artist and not a regular female. Plus I'm ADHD and do not have patience for this x 2. Thanks for your efforts though.
