I've seen a lot of people make fun of Linus and his team for the mistakes he/they make, and I certainly can't say if they are intentional or not. But I think that the missteps ad a lot to the channel. They are the mistake anyone of us would make if it were us approaching these projects for the first time. Great video guys.

Honestly, I'm glad they don't edit that kind of stuff out. it would be easy to make it look like they never make any mistakes, but they don't. Kinda makes their reviews seem more fair that way. It can demonstrate some major flaws, and difficulties potential customers may run into.

Lol this is hardlined tubed water cooling. Only professionals and experienced usually attempt it. I think to you'll be fine going for water cooling using the Corsair or NZXT kits, like the Kraken. It's not as hard as portrayed.

I wouldn't have a problem with using one of the good kit coolers available, but that's about the extent of my desire for water cooling.

It's not as hard as they make it for themselves, honestly. You just have to plan ahead of time and understand your case limitations. Also, hard-tubing increases the difficulty (you only need to cut soft tubing, no heating/bending/sanding required).

Exactly that. If you want to do custom water cooling, you get the biggest case you can possibly find, clear all the stuff its got pre-installed inside, and start from scratch, but only AFTER you plan ahead for the entire build.

Hit me in the feels. RGB makes building so much for time consuming. Made my recent build a two day endeavor. ( and still stuck with a rats nest of rgb cables... If this case was bigger it would be a lot easier to build in. I don't understand the idea of mini itx with a custom loop.. usually comes out looking super messy. all in all I would love to take on this project. seems like a fun challenge.

The ugliest most screwed up electrical solutions I've seen in my life were done by my friend who has one diploma in electrical engineering and another in nuclear reactor physics and is a lab chief in a nuclear power plant. A large nail stuck into 400V electric outlet with uninsulated wire twined onto it is one of the mildest things I've seen him do. They work, though.

Always loved SC's fittings > bends. Even the best bends don't look clean after seeing a perfectly set up SC-style straight tube run. He uses a lot more bends than he did before though.

@Mr. Chair Don't mix your metals and don't use silver coils. My loop has been running for 5 years and the blocks are virtually pristine. I had to change the tubing a couple months ago because they were filling the loop with plasticizer (should've used hard lines I guess) but there's absolutely no corrosion in the blocks or radiators.

@Mr. Chair I run Automotive antifreeze it contains corrosion inhibitors, it is really toxic though so make sure to wash your hands and don't drink any, I also made my own CPU block , milled a solid block of copper on my milling machine.

Casus Belli you’re talking to somebody who knows much more than you do about cutting tubing. Yes, tubing cutters are better in a way, but using an extremely fine toothed saw blade is perfectly fine and will not create any internal ridges (requiring no debuting internally, which is a bitch), and instead will only require the external piece of the pipe to be cleaned. That’s actually easier and I personally would prefer it if using a saw was even remotely as quickly as using tubing cutters.

Go for the 65 euro v2 closed loop water cooler from Cooler Master It has aurora compatible rgb, easy to install, and great cpu compatibility, it'll mostly work for what you've got, from 5 year old cpus till newer Ryzen cpus.
