The Easiest Way to get a Visa for Retiring in Jomtien or Pattaya (Thailand). 🇹🇭 

Technically, what Heath was doing is called a 365-day Extension by-reason-of Retirement, to his existing Non-O Non-Resident Visa, however many expats do call it a retirement-visa. And please note (very important !) that it EXPIRES, if you leave the country, WITHOUT first having got a Re-Entry Permit from Immigration, which costs B1k for a Single-entry or B3.8k for a Multiple-entry Permit. ! Your agent can also help you with that, or you can visit the local Chonburi Immigration-Office on Soi-5 off Jomtien Beach Road. As someone who needs to be able to jump on-a-plane at short-notice, in case of family-emergency (very aged mother), I always get the Multiple-Re-Entry, many other expats I know don't need it since they haven't left the country in over a decade ! Horses for courses !

Just to add, that most of these visa-agents can also help you RENEW your home-country passport, when it's close to expiry ... you do have to pay for it, but they really can help make your expat-life easier/simpler ! Which leaves you more time for eating-out, or admiring the local-scenery !

Heath great video on this. I am a little confused though on the documentation that is needed. I thought that a foreigner could not get a condo until they had established an account. I thought I remembered seeing a video on this. The agency helped out with the lease of the condo, banking, visa extensions, etc. It was in 2023, is this correct?

Hello again, I recently watched another Vloggers video post about there being 4 types of relationships in Pattaya. The 1st two are related to guys wanting to date Bar Girls, #3 & #4 are guys dating "non Bar Girls". 1 was the guys pays the girl a salary if he wants her to be with him all the time & the other is she works a regular 9 to 5 type job. I do everything myself, costs me 1900, lots of nice things can be done with the money you save. Just read well what you need, prepare your papers, wait some time at the immigration office… and you got your visa. If you have lots of money and you do not want to loose some of your precious time… then go to an agent. 90 days report, 2 mins work if you do it online, costs you 0

It sounds good. though there appears to be more to the deal. i lived in thailand (retired) for years. before covid moved back to the US. yes-you need a thai bank account but that has to be funded with 800k thai bht (about $21,000) OR that might be how the visa service assists. I have a thai bank account and a pension letter (bank documents from the US). from what i have been told recenlty IF you apply from in thailand you have to have 800K in a thai bank account IF you apply outside of thailand you can use a pension letter/US or non-thai bank statemetns of 65,000 bht ($1,800 USD a month). again this visa service seems that more is told on arrival in their office/jomtien.

Sorry, but you forget to mention the price at LR. And what get for that price. Did you get visa renewal? You can do it all, if you satisfy the requirement 1,900 bahts. You'll need Passport, contract of rent, 2 photos, proof of revenue or up to date bankbook (thai bank). You go to soi 5 immigration and fill the paperwork(easy). No need to pay zillions of bahts. Better stay legal...

I was to use Key Visa Service for my O retirement Visa but I learned he passed away this December 7. My understanding he was able to help you or "Facilitate" at a fee if didn't have or the Full amount of 800k baht to Deposit in the Thai Bank?? I do have a $1,700 mo. Pension but my bank account has been reduced due to hip surgery !!! So, I'm wondering if L.R. Visa can also "Facilitate " Can I get that Email address, etc.

I think you pay agent 25.000 for this that you can do yourself for 1900 thb at immigration.

Bankbook ? I would not even know what a bankbook is . Maybe this is something common in the UK , but for surely not in Belgium . Why not just a print-out from your status of your bankaccount when you login to your bankaccount ?

So what’s the point in making this video if your not going to let people know the price it’s like making a video about a hotel and not telling them how much per night if you let them know then people will go if it’s a good price

this is one reason not to retire in Thailand for good .To complicated to many visas for this and that .every 90 day show up to immigration office and so on . no other country has such a silly visa politic . in europe spain you have to proof once that you can live on the retirement money and have health insurance . thats it .
