Yes ; getting to know this technique is awesome .Gets to a more advanced stage and adds a lot for your painting .Im working on a side of 🌳 with leaves and a bird .
Use paint retardant and you can blend till the cows come home. There are a MILLION of them on the market, thick gel, thin gel, iridescent, glossy, matte, floetrol (a small amount, not as much they use to pour)
On top left corner there is a water bottle. I dip the foundation brush in water to wash off paint, but I don't use water to help blending. I don't put any water on the big mop brush until finishing the background.
