hi The safest way is once jacked to height and safety pin is installed is to release hydraulic pressure so jack sits on the lock pin. This is the safest way and increases the life of oil seals by not being under pressure constantly .
If I want to move my next door neighbor car that’s parked in the street up 5 feet because he parks like crap can and if so would I be technically braking a law
Got some hydraulic ones from EASTWOOD a few years ago. Didn't need to use them until a few months later. 2 of them leaked fluid and found 3 different size fill plugs on them!!("great" quality control!!). One of them took forever to pump up and with the warranty having run out, I gave them to a friend. Besides, just moving a 2200 pound car on their cheap casters is/was a joke. Dropped the "cheapskape" attitude and got some USA made ones that use a ratcheting mechanical system. No fluid to leak or seals to replace plus the same car moves VERY easily. I'd stay away from any of the "chinesium" products.
Is this will work on slops. i am looking for this type of hydraulic wheel shifter for building parking. so from parking floors, there is ramps and is it will work on that or not, if works how we can apply breaks.
This works great on a standard shop or garage floor - so smooth concrete. There are no "brakes" there are LOCKS for the casters once it's in position. If you're relying on this tool to brake for you on a ramp this will not do that.
would be good to have the option for the wheels to be locked in a direction, to have the rear car wheels fixed and only the front to rotate( easier to move).
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a way to log back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my password. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me!
@Musa Jeremiah Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
@Musa Jeremiah HOLY **** IT ACTUALLY WORKED! I just got access to my ig account details within roughly 45 minutes of using the site. Had to pay 15$ but definitely worth the price :O Thanks so much, you saved my account !
Is two in the front enough to push a bit the car? It wouldn't work on all wheel drive and if the emergency break in on but, in other cases would it work?
We've had it on just the front wheels of some of our projects in the shop and you can still push it easy. You won't get the full benefits of being able to spin the car 360 degrees in place.
What’s the best way to keep the car from rolling once it’s on the dollies? Why not have locks on 2 of the casters or something. That seems like an oversight..
Only use these on a level surface. If you really need to car to hold still; I'd recommend taking it off the dollies. I'd use some old fashioned wheel chocks. Safety first. -JD
