I would liked to see other creators make more videos like this. It's personal, it's positive, it's entertaining, and it's informative. We need more of this. When I got back into the hobby during the boom I was mind-blown by how much negativity there was.

I agree watching people talk about their real collections are way more entertaining than "watch me spend $50,000 in an hour at this card show". Sure it's cool to live vicariously thru the big Sportscard Investors lives, but this is real hobby right here. Are there some valuable cards and memorabilia here? Absolutely, but it's less about the value and more about the love of sports and collecting. More of this kind of content may be the silver lining of the major market drops of the past year or so.

Not a fan of the negativity especially toward these content creators that are clearly trying to help. Geoff Wilson has some negative stuff toward him I don't understand. I've learned a lot from him and this channel too. I mean if you don't like it, watch something else and if you disagree, disagree respectively. I wish the vendors near me wouldn’t limit how many packs I can buy, I’m 12 so I can’t just go to the store when I Want and the target closest to me only lets me buy 3 packs at a time

I'm never using binders ever again. I'm getting back into the hobby. I used a binder when I was younger, jammed it beyond it's capacity. Now the first 20 pages are all curved. Luckily it's most base cards worth nothing. But still. I don't like seeing my cards ruined. I found a solution to flatten them. I put them in the back of the binder, they flattened right out. Any cards I get now go into 100ct hinged clear plastic jewel cases. I find these much better than boxes or binders. Hard outer shell is a guarantee that the corners wont bend, wont get curved, and moisture will stay out.

If you aren't on your stomach sorting your sports cards are you truly living! lol Keep up the good work dude! One thing last year I hope can be change for this year and this is a stretch but I hope it gets better. Is people actually being kind with one another if someone ask even a basic question such as how do I look comps, how do I get my card graded to PSA. I've seen so many people who get so mad at others for these questions and it pushes away new comers from this sport hobbies.

There was a local card show in Denver and I was able to get Surtain. It’s super cool meeting the players and humanizes the player. You can talk with them shake their hand and wish them well!

I wish wax boxes weren’t so pricey. The ceilings are high but they spread out the hits so far and in between that for smaller collectors like me who are still in high school, in which buying one hobby box is difficult, I rarely get what I paid for. I wish they made the hobby more affordable for all collectors. I’ve transitioned to card shows because I find more value in just buying cards straight up, but MAN is it fun to rip some packs!! 😂

One thing I’d really like to see change is the people who wait in line when retailers restock their shelves then clear those shelves by filling their carts buying everything to sell on eBay for double the price. Unless I’m at Walmart an hour before they stock I don’t get to see anything. So yeah, that’s what I want to see change in 23, great content as always, thanks for what you do.

Wax, I would collect much more if I can afford hobby boxes. I can mostly afford retail, which ranges from $1 (GameStop donruss) to $49.99. I’d be willing to spend max $150 but retail doesn’t sell anything good. Anything after that it gets too costly for me. To be honest it’s just the simplicity of getting the wax, I wish retail sold more that weren’t $49.99 and didn’t give you back anything good, you’d rarely find a guaranteed auto/memorabilia for nba/nfl. I remember when I could easily find wax at retail that gave great cards, but I was young kid and the money was definitely tight. Now I would’ve been able to buy some more, but can’t see myself spending $500 to even $1000

One change I want to see in the card-collecting industry is to get cards graded at a cheaper price. I have some good cards but to get them graded is money that I don't have. Great video, I had a question. I see you use the Card Savers, I have the Ultra Pros that look a bit like the Card Savers. Are those okay to use, or will they damage the cards, they do look like a tight fit. Thanks for any information, know this is an older video.

I'm not crazy at buying like I use to when I was a kid but I probably spend about 500-800$ a year on cards. The first thing I buy is a few boxes and label one rookie's, Commons, inserts and I penny sleeve all my cards unless it's a common. I put all good cards in plastics sleeves. I have a separate boxes for auto's and relic's. I started in 84 buying Topps sets complete until now current keeping them sealed never opened. I have 76-83 Topps in binders that I accumulated over the years. I prob have well over a million cards. But I like how you do your organizing and enjoy your content.

Hey man, loved the video! If I had to choose one particular thing I wish would change in the hobby it’d definitely be prices of sealed wax. I miss the days when I first started collecting and I could get blaster boxes for $20, not they’re $40+ and it it ridiculous. I also remember getting hobby boxes in 2018 for 100-200 bucks, and that was the same brands that are 500-700 now. The prices are the biggest reason why I haven’t posted any content on my channel in I think 3 years or longer. I have a family now and can’t afford to pay those prices for cards, so it drove me away from the hobby for a good bit of time. I really like how you have your PC; my PCs are RGIII, Le’Veon Bell, Mason Rudolph, and Ryan Switzer. I was the same way about not ever wanting to sell any of my PC, but I’m at a difficult point in my life where I am going through a divorce, I am about to PCS in the Army to NY, so I need the money and am forced to start posting my Rudolphs. Keep up the positive and entertaining content brother!

I Put mine in me plastic sealed waterproof totes that can be locked and they hold probably thousand in card's. I put them in the car saver ones then in Penny sleeves then I put them in card saver. And then I put them all and about around 800 to 1,000 cards in each sealed container that's waterproof and locked and I have probably 50 in my pc. I am very OCD so I immediately when I open a pack of product. I pull the hit and immediately they go in Penny sleeves into a card savers. I've been collecting for the last 35 years I've been collecting ever since I was 7 years old I love collecting cards. And watching others that love the same Hobby. I never said that much but, I watch you a lot you do make my day sometimes watching your content 😇keep it up man God bless

I would love to see the price of cards go down lol They are just so expensive to buy. I only buy baseball but dang, blasters are $40 now. I have never even though to buy a hobby box because it costs so much. My cards are all in boxes but not the 5000ct\. 1 box is almost $40 !! I would need about 4 of them and I would never have that kind of money. My cards are in all kinds of different boxes that I have used along the way for something.

My biggest change to the hobby would be for eBay to switch to doing it like What Not, where if you bid and win an auction, your account is charged automatically. That would go a long way to reinforce the expectation of “don’t bid unless you’re going to pay”. Keep it up, Jay!

Love the Content!! i would like to see some changes in Card Shows. Make shows more like an event, make it fun for kids. Have live breaks at shows, solid giveaways, autograph guests, and mascots!! 'kids love pics with mascots. We as a hobby need to make it fun for kids. Next, do a giveaway for dealers!!! Make it fun for them as well. Be professional. advertise the show. More people =More Money for Dealers. More Dealers=Better Deals. Have a Variety of Dealers at shows. Offer Hotel Rooms at a discount so some Dealers can travel. Giveaways!!! Giveaways=Followers!!! Have respect for fellow Dealers. In the last couple of years you can see the good in the hobby . I have approximately 50k sports cards and I can tell you right now as soon as you open boxes or collections organize them right away or you won’t know where anything is and you will get really overwhelmed especially if you bought heavily into a guy that is playing out of his mind and his cards go crazy and you can’t find them! Trust me I know!

My Pet peeve after collecting for 40 years is the cost of Grading Cards- Is the process the same for each card? Are the exact details monitored? What are we paying outrageous prices for a prices that is supposed to reflect a single standard.. yea…. Wax era I bought cards after cards- boxes boxes then more boxes. I was raising 2 sons ..Baseball came first. Then Football, next The NBA - of course I had to add Hockey ( Gretzky rookies).

I would like to see more Nascar racing cards, old school ,come back. And gain more value throughout the market. Also less bashing each other's content. We are all out to entertain everyone and just discuss the hobby and give our own views and opinions. Not to talk about each other negatively!!!!! None of us are really right ,but it is okay. I would love to see people stop going after creators for talking about their favorite cards and making it sound like they are pumping. Oh and I’d like to see wax prices be slightly more reasonable compared to the prices of the cards they get in the product. I’m not saying it shouldn’t be a gamble but 1000 boxes to get $50 worth of cards is nuts. Still love the hobby. Good vibes. Much love to Mojo!

Haven't even gotten thru your video, but I gonna have a new year's resolution. You should do. Giveaway for some autos of rhe guys you meet, not your PC stuff, but like next time you meet Rodgers this year since you need annually.. snag a rc auto or two for true fans.... that would mean beyond the world to someone who loves that player.. it is a lifetime thing for many. I know I couldn't afford that refractor rc, let alone signed, but maybe just a base... but besides that, been watching you for years on my old act and my husband's, keep it going J!!!! MOJO is a real collector fs.... damn your to be able to get those signed in person, not for a money point of view, but that' such a lifetime thing for the avg person to meet some of these guys!!! I really like watching your videos. I have been collecting for 40 years. I need your help if you can. I have a Earl Woods autographed 2001 Masters flag from the 2001 masters. After Tiger won we had his dad sign the flag. I’m trying to get a value for it but I think it’s a one of one so I’m having trouble finding anything like it. I have a few boxes totaling about 1800 cards from late 80s/ early 90s mostly NBA. My dad gave them to me over 25 years ago but i recently got the okay to sell them from him so I’ve been watching videos like yours to learn what to do. It bums me out that my research has said that the best way is to sell individual cards, it bums me out because i have several complete teams including the coaches. Would specialty memorabilia places be interested in buying full team sets to make team themed Merch with the cards or just pull the best cards and forget the rest?

Don’t know if I’m late to the party, BUT I feel like the LCS’ around the world need to up the standard of their social profiles… an example being is that there is no relation to #sportscards when you’re posting about Pokémon cards… I see too many unrelated hashtags and it’s just sloppy imo… basic social media etiquette is what will be an essential foundational building block their success

Less flaws. I’m tired of opening pack after pack only to see printing errors, creases, dimples, residue, etc… etc. Especially when you pull a hit. Not cool. So… better quality control during production would be something I’d love to see improve. Love the channel man.

I'd like to see prices come back to earth. The pandemic brought so much attention to the hobby it just got out of control. And I see it leveling out some. I like shopping for raw. During the pandemic people were selling raw cards like they were graded. Also, people stop saying cards are "PSA ready", lol.

I put cards in sections, such as player, team, high value, vintage,.... whatever. When I do a certain player I go by year of card, rookie to latest. When I do other categories I always go alphabetically. Almost all of my cards go into penny sleeves, the good ones go into penny sleeves and then into a top loader. I still enjoy sorting and categorizing.

Im new to the hobby, trying to prioritize quality over quantity and figure out what/how im collecting as I go. I know some people have collections that make yours look small, but at what point does a person cross the line from collecting to hoarding? I liken this to owning too many cars or clothes. Love the AR12 pc btw

Shorter print runs...higher values. Lower retail card prices - when you start getting upwards of hundreds or thousands of dollars per box for cards that is a little extreme and what incentive is that for getting new people into the hobby...lower the greed and you will attract more of an audience and believe it or not you WOULD sell more cards. Also lower prices to get cards graded...what the companies are charging right now to get cards graded is also a little extreme.

I love converting my friends and family to the dark side lol😂 I got us all collecting I think my favorite part buying singles and lots on eBay and gifting them to everyone. My family and friends all struggle with addiction it’s completely wiped out northeast wi it rips me to pieces to see so many people I love and care about throw away their lives never meeting there full potential. Ive lost so many to overdoses ,Prison or psychosis and now it’s the next generation picking it up young and burning out even younger. I guess all I’m saying is the therapy of collecting saved me and I’d like to see it implemented into recovery in some way shape or for the hardest part is staying busy or having a hobby when u can’t feel

Another way you can do it, if you have any "okay" programming experience, is to write an app that utilizes a simple database. Assign an id number for every card. Write that id# on the sleeve. Store in order by id#, or you could sort them by team. That would be scalable.

Haha man, I loved watching Kenny Walker's dunks! The one change I'd like to see is people stop caring so much about money and just about helping people out with their collections. I give so many cards away to people on Twitter and Reddit just because its not worth the effort to try to sell or trade em and I know they fill those guys PCs. I want better quality control and I'd love to see them limit the print runs and stop producing so much retail. I thought about bringing me fresh acquired lamelo ball black holo prizm optic rated rookie 1of 1, so I could move it. Not sure if I'm going to make it though.

End exclusive rights deals to card companies. The most kick ass cards came from the late 90's early 2000's...why?...because there was competition.

Def top 5 sports card tuber to do it! I would like to see card shows to ease up on people making deals with each other I know some shows don't like when people sit there n make trades n sales being they don't have a table I say chill n there's enough to go around for everyone! 100% wax prices for smaller collectors. I would also love to not see ppl getting scammed, ik it happens but i just wish ppl were more trustworthy and not trying to gain such little for ruining a hobby for ppl.

I was going to comment that I’d like to see less negativity in the hobby, but I also have to shout out your suggestion of lower wax prices. I feel like the card Manufacturers/ Companies need to see the detrimental impact on growing the hobby if the prices stay out of reach of the next generation and even some of the current hobbyists that can’t afford the products.

I would like to see Fanatics go in a different direction with Topps. I believe their are just too many releases and it’s hard for newer collectors to get into the hobby because they just don’t know which set they should start with. Thanks for the vid

I would like to see hockey cards follow football/basketball packs where you are at least happy after opening a few packs. They always have some hits, rookies and legends that make you feel like you received some value out of the purchase. Thanks for your video.

I would like people actually being able to find card packs/boxes at retail places, it was near impossible last year but I’m seeing it more and more and I find myself grabbing packs and just enjoying opening them

One thing i'd really like to see is pricing on box/cases go down. It's basically impossible for the younger generation to open packs and boxes to get into the hobby, unless they have a parent willing to spend a significant amount of money on product.

I think like high end hobby boxes like Flawless and national treasure need to lower its cost for us collectors who are just collecting not trying to make profit on and grading companies need to find a cost that’s good for everyone to use when we grade PC Cards

I would say that the biggest thing that affected me was when I just started and offered low because I did not know how much it was worth. Then people would post it on there story so much that I just changed ig account. This should not be happening to new people coming into the hobby.

Thanks for your videos. I wish they would lower the amount of sets that they have. Topps came out with a bunch of different sets at 1 time in 2022 and it has saturated the market.
