It does not work for some number because when you multiply the denominator it has 1 of the factors of the denominator but what we are getting is the LCM, so we are not sure if that is the lcm of the denominator
Bruh the butterfly method is for adding 2 fractions together and you have to simplify I use LCM for 4-5 fractions together to add or subtract and I rarely have to simplify so yeah butterfly sucks with 4 to 5 fractions you can still use it but it isn’t quick@@melaniearedas620
