Yeah, maybe isn't the perfect method but simple & effective for some situations :)

Pretty cool but technically this is not parametric since the geometry is "baked" and not linked to the original surface. But this is just semantics, I will use the script for sure! Thanks for sharing.

Slice=> create shape. This plugin just optimizes this process, for people who often do this operation, and this plugin is a mess for others.
